I thought Jerruh said they would go after the rushing title. Did they figure that 178 yards was unlikely, so it was better to rest Elliott? Or is he hurt? Or just butthurt after watching the OSU/Clemson game?

he was never gonna get ED's record...Many have tried...he had the line, but the last two games vs divisional opponents is too much. He probably already gashed both teams and they were trying to come ready....Ooops, the lions were week 16....

Both feel like records that could be threatened, but the game has changed so much in favour of passing... both feel pretty safe.
Just not lock and key safe, unlike Cal Ripken's ironman record. That one will never be broken in the modern insane-salaries era. Never.

This game cost me ROD$$$$, I didn't think Clemson could do that to OSU!
But they said at the beginning of the game they where not going to take chances with him or their QB in a meaningless game.
