Really sickened by our defense, but at the same time really pleased with the offense so I guess you can say it balances my emotions out. ;)

Not a big stat wonk. Points for and points against and W/L are about the only stats that matter and even those can be game to game. The one thing I will say that I am very disappointed in our defense to date - especially our run defense - and pleasantly surprised by our pass offense all things considered. I'm encouraged by some of the play by a VERY young secondary and discouraged by the play of what should be a stout, road grading O-line.

To be honest, I see very little improvement in the overall team from last year and that is upsetting. Hopefully we will see some major improvements as the season goes on. The season is only three games in after all.
