What team would you most like to avoid in the playoffs?

I will admit it.
I don't want to play the Bears again.
It's not only because we suffered our only legit beatdown of the season to them either.
McVay didn't call his best game, Goff was at his worst... I expect a much better showing from our guys...
... its the match ups. I dont feel like they are the best team in the NFC, I don't think they are a better team than the Rams... just the one most capable of beating us.

On the flipside, I really like the way we match up with Seattle and the Saints, espescially with Talib and an improving secondary. (@NO vs The Drew Brees Story is what scares me, but I do like the match up.)
The Eagles and Cowboys are somewhere in the middle.
We would crush the Vikings again.

Adam Theilen and Kyle Rudolph were two WR's we couldn't handle last year. They romped through our group of small guys in the secondary, at will. The only team I want to avoid is Seattle. They are playing well, their running game is a strength going against our weakness, have played us tough, and they are due to beat us.

I want the Bears. I think the revenge factor is big and frankly they are not that great away from home. Plus their offense does not scare me. So while the Rams offense could struggle, I still think the Rams can outscore them something like 23-13.

I hope they play the worst teams, get bad calls to go our way and win the Superbowl against an injury plagued team.
Dont care at all for getting there the hard way.
None of that will matter when its over. Likewise, playing a brilliant, gutsy and valiant game we should have won but didn't wont do anything for me. Gimme a dirty win over a moral victory in a loss any day.
In the end, if we win 1 playoff game, this season will be an awesome success. If we dont, it will be disappointing and the circumstances behind it all wont change that.

We can't stop the run, and that defense of theirs can slow us down on offense. That's a team I want to avoid. Can we beat them? Yes. Are they a very tough stylistic matchup for us? Yes.

Personally, as long as we're playing in LA, I welcome the Bears (the Bears have been a shitty road team this year). McVay got embarrassed by the Seahawks and Vikings last year. The next time we played those two teams, McVay put a beat down of epic proportions on their defenses. I think he's the sort of guy who will be obsessed with destroying that Bears defense. I don't see us shitting the bed again when we play them. I also think our defense can contain their offense well enough.

Rather play the Bears than the Vikings or SeaHawks, who are both more experienced and much more of an offensive threat.

I don't want to play Dallas just because of the embarrassment of hosting a playoff game where there are as many Cowboy fans as Rams fans.

Biggest concern for me is the Saints in the Dome, although I hope we get that far.

As long as we beat SF on Sunday, we’d be favorites in the Div round at the Coliseum. I’d welcome a rematch with the 3 seed Bears. Trubisky looked awful, and Rams were off in both playcalling and execution.

I’ll go with New Orleans mostly because they can trade scores with us.

The Bears; I want a rematch. I think they match up well against us, but I don’t see losing 2x to them. I think we’ll be insanely motivated if this game happens.

Seattle is always a tough out. I do worry about their familiarity with us.

I agree about Dallas being dangerous for us. Good points about the Bears on the road and McVays 2nd shot against teams. The gameplan they used to beat us worked so well in part because we played right into it. McVay isnt stubborn or arrogant enough to fall into that same trap twice.

I'd say Dallas. I love the added dimension that CJ Anderson brings to the table. I hope he is relegated to mop up duty once Gurley is better. He had over 100 yards after contact. That type of low to the ground power running is very useful in short yardage situations and in deflating an opponent.

Absolutely.
Even if Gurley is at 100% and running like Secretariat on horse crack, I still want to see CJ getting touches all 4 quarters.

Lost in the loss to the Eagles and then to CJs heroics in Arizona is how good John Kelly has looked on his carries.
He sure looks like he can run in this league. If he can develop some chops in the passing game, look out.
