I'm trying to not overreact and just prognosticate on what I've seen so far from the players and coaches we have on this team...

I'm now happy with 11-6 and think that will get us into the playoffs. Not with HF advantage, but we proved yesterday that may not matter at all. We can beat anybody when we take our heads out of our poopholes. We can lose to anybody (anywhere) with our heads firmly implanted.

I'm concerned about Stafford, but not "worried". I think this game was an anomaly. I'm more concerned about Morris and team consistency.

11-6 is fine....as long as those 6 losses aren't to division foes

Given the talent level of this team, I'd be more than a little underwhelmed with 11-6. We were 10-6 last year with a QB who was regressing, no deep threats on the team, a turnstile for a center, but with a good D.

While we have lost some D talent from last year, it's not enough to account for how much worse our D has been. We still have the best DL and best DB in the league. And on O, we've upgraded at QB and C and have a legitimate deep threat.

If the best all of that can give us is one extra win in a season expanded to 17 games, then I would have to chalk up this up as a failure of the coaches to maximize the talent we have.

We should have a minimum of 13 wins.

Any record that wins the division and gets us the bye.

I would agree with the 13-4 or better crowd if I didn't see what I just saw. I never in a million years expected Stafford to miss wide open receivers that often. Once in a while, of course, he's only human. But THAT MANY?

I just can't imagine (with this non-existent D), we win the NFC West games (got 5 more of those alone) much less be consistent on all but 3 occasions the rest of the season.

Can't believe I'm the pessimist all of the sudden. But yes, I'd take 11-6 and hope for bounces in the playoffs. All day long.

I break the season into quarters. With 17 game schedule I put the first 5 games into season quarter 1. So for season quarter 1 I’m looking for 4-1. 3-2 will not be good!! I’ll predict season quarter 2 when 1 concludes.

With at least two of our division opponents looking less than stellar this year, I'd have to say 13-4. I feel with all the talent and one of the best HC's in the league there's really no excuse to lose more than that. It's not like we have the hardest schedule in the world either. If the Rams can right their defense and at least play like a top 10 I feel confident. If we can't, then well...
