I work literally right across the street off of orangewood from Angel Stadium

So around 3 me and a Wentz jock sniffer (like a few around here) walked across the street, well practice was closed

How hilarious, wasn’t the Eagle faithful going to take over?

There were 6...six fans in Eagle gear waiting to cheer their team near the 5 team buses

Can anyone walk me thru how to send pics taken from an iPhone? You all gotta see this, I’ll be back for seconds tomorrow
Plug your phone into your computer, this would be your charging cord. Both devices will ask if it’s ok to download the pictures. Click ok on both and it should download them to your pictures file on the computer. It will download all pictures not previously downloaded.

I've seen comments from Eagles fans talking about taking over the stadium on game day, and even some talk about taking over the fox pregame show. Can't say I've seen any talk about closed practices at Angel Stadium in the middle of the week though. Not sure why they'd want to even try either.

That comment does not surprise me, make sure you're around after the game tho I'm guessing you'll vanish

Cheers

Huh? Why would I vanish? And seriously, why would opposing fans bother showing up to a closed practice in the middle of the week?

Oh but they did, all 6 of them

Taking over the Coliseum on game day is nothing short of laughable, at best they may worm their way into 25-30%

Just like any Yankee or Red Sox crowd

Laughable

I listen to the Fanatic in Philly on Tune-in at times, more this week than at other times because of the matchup...It will be so much nicer to hear Anthony Gargano brought low with all of the shyte he spews about Iggle/Carson invincibility. I acknowledge we could lose on Sunday, unlike Philly sports media...What I hate most is that many feel the need to step on Goff to elevate Wentz...As though they must destroy a young QB with their words to make them feel better about their 2nd overall pick. I don't hate Wentz, but it is surely tempting to want bad things to happen to his career after all of this...,.

Gargano hopes that Goff stick legs get broken in the game...Fukk you Cuz, and that comes from the heart

I don’t listen to that station. Gargano is s castoff from WIP the main sports station in Philly.
If he really said those things then he’s an idiot. Period.
As a diehard Eagles fan I do not wish anything bad on Goff nor do I need to downplay him to pump up Wentz. I think that they are two of the best young players in this league and will be for a long time.
Please don’t listen to such bullshit and think that all fans are like that. Most are not. We love the team and get crazy and all that but at the end of the day don’t want to see anyone get hurt.

Well said...... It's my hope (dream?) that both Goff and Wentz have incredible careers and they meet many times in the NFC Championship game for the right to go to the Super Bowl. Many years later people will remember the great Goff/Wentz wars and the memorable epic battles they fought.
Much like in boxing it's the match up in styles that make the competition sweeter. Think Ali/Frazier and Leonard/Hearns. and Sugar Ray Robinson against Jake LaMotta, etc.

Anyone hoping for either player to bust or get injured doesn't understand much about sports and should consider a different hobby. You know something like EXTREME Needle point or whatever......

So if I tune into WIP, I will hear sports hosts that won't dismiss the Rams like they are nothing to worry about? I know Mike Missinelli is also dismissive of the Rams to the point I wonder if the Rams should even show up at all, because they are so inferior at home in their own stadium. I will try and listen to WIP tomorrow to see..

You just may hear at least some objectivity on WIP. The morning show with Angelo Cataldi is full of shtick and to be taken with a grain of salt. The other shows are more serious. I’d be shocked if anyone hoped for an injury.
Missinelli is a jackass. He is another WIP castoff. He was fired due to anger issues. Has had some meltdowns.
Mid day show is DeCamara and former Eagle/Raider FB Jon Ritchie.

Pretty broad generalizations there! I’m a lifelong Eagles fan. An objective one at that. I’ve stated over and over that the Rams are a very good team and fun to watch. I’m looking forward to a great game.

Yes I was born in 65. My dad sat me in front of tv for the games long before I had a clue. At around 5 which was 1970 I was more cognizant of the game and pretty quickly learned the basics. The Eagles had white helmets with very plain green wings. They were pitiful. Rick Arrington, Pete Liske.... anyone remember those QB’s? Didn’t think so!
The first sign of hope was getting Roman Gabriel from the Rams in 73. They went from awful to average at best.
Vermeil was the guy who turned it around I certainly do remember Papale! He was a fan favorite for obvious reasons. He wasn’t the most talented but he always played like his life depended on it. The movie embellished certain things. He lived in the suburbs for example. He also looked nothing like Walberg. He was very Italian looking in a way that made you think South Philly. He went on to be a sports anchor on the local CBS affiliate for many years. He’s a nice guy. Talked to him at a game some years ago at the Vet.
Yes I lived 47 of my 52 years a couple miles north of Philly. It was a great place to grow up and live. I’m now about 2 hours southwest of Philly in York Pa.
I rooted for Rams when Vermiel was there. The Eagles weren’t very good that year so it was just fun seeing them and him have the success.

My dad lives still in Easton, PA and I spent my summers there with him. Come football season, I definitely followed the Eagles.

I remember Jaworski to Harold Carmichael and watching highlights of Bill Bergey at the Mike tackling people. I fancied myself a MLB on the playground and I would switch being Bergey or Hacksaw Reynolds.

Good times.
