1) The culture of rest starters and establishing depth has been here for four years now. The starters will be fine.

2) The addition of Michel allows the offense to spell Henderson. Along with the fact McVay can go to either when 1 is running great.

3) This Bears Oline ,along with a statue of a QB in Dalton, plays rights into a multiple sack night for the Rams. Possible 2+ TOs tonight.

4) Stafford will have some pressure, albeit from a familiar foe. Couldn’t have asked for a better match up out of the gate for him. He knows this defense well.

5) I just can’t buy into the “sky is falling“ posts that circulate on game game. No need to start the season or a game worried about everything none us control.

1) Some rust but nothing to serious.
2) Michel 1 carry 2yards, Henderson did the work in the second half.
3) Great pressure tonight. Donald missed on 3-4 opportunities that would have made for a great night.
4) Incredible watching the long ball from Stafford to Jefferson and Kupp!
5) Not as close as Michaels and Collinsworth would like you to believe.

Earlier today Dungy was talking about how teams should play starters in preseason and cited how many slow starts result from it. What is interesting is the Rams' offense did not seem too affected by it and they had a new QB learning the scheme on top of no preseason.

And what does he do? Only one of his best performances of his long career. Shows how good McVay is IMO.

McVay has been at the forefront of the trend to rest starters in preseason. And the Rams under McVay are 5-0 in season openers. So there's that.

It was a huge relief IMO to see passes down the feed over 15 yards. Plus, it appears Van Jefferson is definitely a target Stafford is looking for.
