What do we think about Greedy Williams?

I haven't seen much of his play, but he seems to be falling out of favor with the media types as far as rankings go.
I understand that he's fast and is a good "island" type of CB.
I also understand that he has basically no interest in making tackles...although I'm not sure if he falls above or below the Dion Sanders line in that regard.

If he's there at 31, what do you think?

I was already getting tired of MP avoiding tackles last season.
I think the Rams already have their eye on a couple of man-to-man cover corners in the draft who are pretty physical, types that Wade P. likes. I think we'd be ok to address something else at #31.

Greedy and Murphy are 1-2 some say Murphy some say Greedy. I would have no problem with the Rams taking him in the first - why we definitely have bigger needs, but the NFL is a pass happy league. Stopping the pass is paramount. He is tall 6'2" and fast and a shut down man corner the Rams struggled when Talib went down. Not to mention both corners are FAs next year. A good one year indoctrination to Rams football/the NFL.

I know we OL, DT, OLB/ILB maybe more but take the best player be available.

If he does fall to us, I hope we take him. I compare him to Asante Samuel with his ball skills and coverage ability. I know that he's hesitant in making tackles, which is admittedly a turn-off, but he's at least better than Peters.

I feel like Murphy is a bit overrated on most draft boards. He is an excellent prospect but I think he will go a bit later than most mocks I've seen.

Also the PI review change is going to have a profound effect on how teams value corners. Guys who can stick on wideouts are going to get a bump in draft value.

This also helps Baker btw. Who could also be in play for us. Oh and re: Greedy... Barring us not being privy to some serious behind the scenes BS the Rams would probably be ecstatic to take him.

He is projected to go early in round one. Could he really fall to #31? Really haven't studied his game. Has a top 20 grade here. He has the height but, needs a little more muscle. I think Rams jump on him.

Weight is something easily added... the skills and athleticism can not be. You take him if he’s there 100%.
