Here are some fan posts about the game on the Arizona Sports Fans site

Post by BullHeadCardFan:

We could get exposed really bad.

All the little mistakes that we make every week we will not be able to overcome those vs. the Rams.

Hopefully this team can take a punch in [the] nose and respond.

After watching what the Rams did to the Bucs it’s going to be a tall order.

McVay can’t keep dominating us forever, can he?

Post by Football karma:

All streaks end………………

The Jags 17 game losing streak made me nervous going into the week. The NFL is built to not have stuff like that.

=======

Post by Dr Jones:

I’m guessing we get rolled this weekend and then break the streak next time.

=======

Post by ajcardfan:

I like the fact that there is the streak and no one gives us much of a chance. If the NFL proves anything each week, what you think is a sure thing isn’t. That’s why the books make billions off bettors.

If I could make the game how I wanted it, I would have us down 10 at halftime and come back and win it. End McVay’s streak against the Cards + end his unbeaten leading at halftime streak.

Last season we played terrible with our backup HBack at QB against their backup QB…..

And despite it all we could have won.

We know we can play these guys.

We know we can beat Matt Stafford.

We are obviously better this year over last…..in nearly every facet.

How do we Cardinal this for an L?

Crap, I’m sorry fellas.

Which means absolutely nothing this year. Live in the past you will fail in the future. We also used to suck and lose to Seattle. Remember 59-0. Well we have a winning record at Seattle. This game is a toss up period. We have more yards per game and less yards per game defensively. They don’t run the ball very well. We haven’t played a great game offensively yet and avg 34.3 points a game. Lol. We could put 40 up this Sunday. I think the final is going to be 34-30 us.

7 point dogs??!! ….that was my first thought but then I thought about it.

I’d give the Rams 3 points due to their (lets be honest) superior defense. I’d also give them another 2 points for home field advantage. Then there’s the Head Coach comparison.

I’m not saying our BirdGang can’t win though, much the opposite. The lambs just beat Tom Brady, game planning for the Cardinals will be a complete 180, and btw Stafford sucks when he’s running for his life.

We have a real chance to lick a slice of pizza known as the NFC West and then put it back in the pizza box.

Post by Cbus cardsfan:

Rams are primed for a letdown game after the Bucs game and everybody telling them how great they are. That’s a recipe for an upset and it’s not like the Cards are a slouch.

I’m calling it.

The Rams are definitely the reason why Watts was brought in. But, not entirely for what he actually does on the football field. The Rams have not only beaten us like a drum, but they have bullied us. Watt was partially brought in to bring a temperament to this team, especially in the trenches. The Rams see us as a soft team that they have been able to beat up like a much younger brother. Even if we don’t win the game, we need to make sure we don’t continue to bring knives to a gun fight. It’s time we responded to these bullies. If and when we have the opportunity to hit Stafford, we better rock his world. No cheap shots, but good solid hits.

What site is this on Loyal? I actually love AZ fans and have a soft spot for them since their old NFC East days and rooting for them against the Cowgirls. Especially, when Warner became a Cardinal, been there many times to watch our games.

Some of their fans seem pretty damn reasonable and others :laugh1:sounds like they have some Deadbird Red colored glasses on saying their random shit.

Ok it is watts breakouts game time, our division is why we needed him. Can we trust JJ enough in the middle to blitz Collins and Simmons, it’s all about timing, hopefully Vance has a feel for the rams now. I mean QB not the offense changed, we can do this defensively. Offensively seems Kylee can crap 30 points - but really feel it would benefit. To set the tone with Connor early, chase bless his heart, can not set the tone in a slug fest, he’s a hole taker not a hole maker. Gotta make rams defense pay for playing us one dimensional, not with a whiny lil backhand, need to push them from point A to point B against their will, make their new stadium curse that bird.

I trolled my Cardinal fan buddy in a text and he won't call me back. LOL I've been to two Cardinal games in Glendale and both times the Cardinals embarrassed the Rams. This is payback.

Nice. I trolled my Lions fan co-worker who enjoys trolling me via text whenever the Rams lose.

Man, that Stafford kid is looking good. Rookie of the year. Where did he come from?

It's funny they designed the QBR rating to change ranking QB's by more than just passing it's their ability to make plays. And it shows since Staffords QBR is above the dynamic playmaker in the Red Midget. Look I think Kyler is a dynamic athlete at the QB positions. I think QBR is a terrible stat. But don't sit here and throw shade at the Rams offense! Kirk could develop into a good WR but he's no Cooper Kupp. They have Hopkins and he's clearly better than anything we have at the WR position anybody trying to argue differently needs a reality check. But as a duo I'll take Kupp and Woods over anything the Cardinals can throw along side Hopkins and that doesn't include Van Jefferson give me those 3 over Hopkins, Kirk and Green. It's unfortunate we don't have Akers because this offense would be on another level than what we've already seen.

Murray has the advantage over Stafford in two areas this year. Mobility and the ability to turn the ball over. Four interceptions and that mobile QB has been sacked more than Stafford as well.

I think it's going to be a very challenging game they have some talent. It's going to come down to how many of those 3 starting OL who didn't or barely practice played. And they need somebody other than Jones and Simmons to show up on D with an impact play, as do we with somebody other than 5 and 99.

No disrespect to AZ or their fans by the Rams have to turn the ball over at least 3 times more than the Cards to lose. While that could happen I don’t see that happening this week.

Sort of Funny as Chit….but this week with Raheem Morris & Sean Mcvay they keep giving The Cards so much credit.Even Stafford said where 3-0 what does that mean.Basically JACK Chit.
I know the Cards a little better than I want to admit, but then again I don’t because I can’t recall there coaches name really by name & only know there core player a touch.Add I know Seattle & Niners a lot more. When the 9ers come on I’ll go take a nap if The Rams play Sunday home opener? Or was that SD vs KC?
I follow the NFL & NCAA okay. Coach Vance(thanks Mcvay) & HC from TT got his butt kicked by SDSU.Vance was the HC at Denver.Together they make a good Team.Klyer is actually my Fantasy QB which is in 9th place & I think if not hurt would have made things tougher for The Rams.
They have gone to Seattle though & beaten them on the regular.I think they play well on the road. Was hoping
they’d lose to Jacksonville.
Hard to say what is going to happen, but my Brother seems to always play on The Edge of caution, but I’ll be Super
Pissed if they lose & have negative things to say,but also always look to see which Rams Players stood out & plYed well.
Still give Raheem Morris credit for putting Terrel Lewis in at MLB & cracked Gronk like he was a REGULAR SIZE TE because of my boy Baby Hughie squared him up.I guess he doesn’t get credit for that because Gronk caught the ball & should have broke it up.I like little things as well.
Jake Funk made a block, but just not as fancy as Sony.Add Mcvay talked about that RT who should have been traded blocking 2 players & fist pumping when Tyler Higbee scored.
The truth though is a game can change either way.I’ll take the good with the bad.Staying positive, but knowing even in that Colts game it’s nice to have Matthew Stafford at the Helm.
