That's so fucking stupid and it pisses me off that the NFL does that. Meanwhile the NHL has their own YouTube channel, and they practically encourage fans to make highlight videos. LA Kings (who also have their own YouTube channel, as do many other teams) would link fan made highlight videos that were good.


NFL is incredibly greedy, I don't know what their motivation is for doing this, but they can't be making enough money to make it worth it. Instead they just look like a bunch of fucking douchebags.

It's even more annoying because the NFL doesn't make anything like these. If they did I'd go to their website and watch them but they don't. Or if the NFL network actually like showed highlights and plays from teams that aren't on the east coast and Dallas I'd watch that to and be happy. The fact that someone like X is the only source to get good, raw highlights is what makes it so upsetting that the NFL is such pusses.

Another better alternative would be Google's blog. It's free and you can post videos easily from you hard drive and don't have to link to a youtube.

I have has over a dozen YT channels, and yes I have had them closed over basically nothing. It's like a dictatorship in that just on a whim poof your channel can be gone.
