... it would be kind of a luxury, but wouldn't it be nice to have a back like Georgia's Sony Michel to pair with Gurley? A speedy explosive back to force defenses to deal with more speed, but a guy that can run it anywhere unlike a gadget like Austin. Would make it impossible to key on Gurley. Plus, would be insurance as Gurley is bound to get nicked up at some point.

So hoping they can fill key OL & secondary depth in FA and maybe trade down to get an extra pick. then maybe be in position to burn a 3rd rounder on a guy like that. Just a thought.

You don't think Gurley is fast enough? Lol. I think that very role is Gurleys while Brown is the battering ram.

I was thinking about this also. A good pass catching speed RB would be a good compliment to our offense. Brown is pretty average backup IMO. I doubt we would take a RB in the 1st 3 rounds though because we have other needs. I do think we will release Tavon and look at RBs in the draft later to take his role next year.

Just saying speed kills so having a #2 speed back would really scare defenses. Two dynamic backs to worry about even if the 2nd guy would not be the complete package Gurley is.

Just a thought...

look at it this way...Kamara and Ingrahm are an excellent duo, but imagine Kamara and Gurley being paired up ... Insane.

I don't know how Michel is as a pass catcher. I was thinking a replacement for Tavon that could do jet sweep (fakes and real) as well as be a RB and pass catcher. Yes, I want it all. A stronger, bigger and with better hands player than Tavon Austin. Says he is 5'11" @ 216 Lbs. I doubt the Rams can afford to draft him with no 2nd rounder and lot's of future needs. They do need to improve the backup RB position and have an explosive player getting some regular playing time.

I would have loved to grab Cohen last year but I knew we would give Tavon his shot first. Maybe we can find our own Cohen or Chris Thompson type player in the upcoming draft! Somewhere in the 4th-7th round area.

I was thinking how nice it would be to add Roquan Smith to this defense.

Of the two teams from the state of Georgia, coming into LA to play, over the next six days... only one will win. Looks like it's going to be a bad weekend for the other Georgia team!
