LOL.

WATCH: Patrick Mahomes with absurd behind-the-back pass

He’s not the reigning Super Bowl MVP for no reason. He’s not potentially the first $500 million man in the sports world for no reason.

His name is Patrick Mahomes. He plays NFL football for the Kansas City Chiefs. He plays good NFL football for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Latest example? Nothing short of Mahomes tossing the ball behind his back a good 15 yards and hitting his target right in the gut.

We’ve seen Mahomes do ridiculous things on the football field. We’ve seen him throw the football completely out of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

But this takes the cake.

If the former NFL MVP is able to do this in live-game action, the other 31 teams around the league are completely screwed. Full stop!

Okay.... Jackass Challenge:

I just stood up and tried making exactly that throwing motion. I did the drop back too...:hush:

But whatever...

It took me maybe 4-5 times to even get a throwing motion. Which sucked. But close.

I then grabbed a nerf ball, but only have one the size of softball... Took 4-5 times to even get the ball going that way.

To do it with a football... and any degree of spiral... lol, I don’t think so.

Redskins' QB, Sonny Jurgenson, used to routinely complete short to medium length behind-the-back passes in practice to his fly guys. He was such a natural passer that even legendary rigidly strict disciplinarian, Vince Lombardi himself, used to ease up on fitness requirements for Sonny. As such, Sonny was the only pot-bellied QB who ever played for Vince.

Sorry CGI, I don't look at Chiefs porn.... I get enough of it on sports radio in Kansas...

I met a man who played with Sonny in the 60's and he said Sonny would actually smell like booze and swears he's take a swig from a bottle at half time. I'd drink too if I had to face Deacon Jones back in the day.

15 yards? Right in the gut? Not sure why there's a need to exaggerate what's going on the in the video.

I mean, if anyone can make that pass it’s him, I guess for a quick WR screen it’s nice, but there’s a lot of risk of a CB is pressing for an easy pick 6.

Mahomes likes his flair, but this seems like the risk wouldn’t be worth it outside some limited applications.

I hate this media gushing crap though, did the same thing with Tebow. At least Mahomes deserves the hype, but still. There are more than three QBs in the NFL. If it ain’t Mahomes, it’s Jackson, and if it ain’t him it’s Brady. It gets old.

Yeah... If we are sick of the over saturation, why do we keep getting more?

I am glad Mahomes isn’t annoying as a dude, or this would be really bad.
