Sure looked and sounded like a Steelers home game to me.....
They travel well, no doubt. I wasn't at the game, but even though they travel well, this was a big game for the Hawks and they've been playing well. So this is surprising...

There was a shot of the stands after a Steelers TD… the amount of terrible towels waving, I had to do a double take. Is this in Seattle?

They didn't appear to that day.

Seems like a trend around the league. Or maybe I just hear more about it lately.

Ppl are more transient. Especially in Southern cities whereits warmer and more work opps. Idk what else is there in Pittsburgh. Or NY, Philly, DC, Detroit etc unless you were born and raised there.

Seattle might be an exception for a northern team bc of the tech industry there tho

Only reason I bring this up it b/c its NOT an LA thing.

This happens everywhere. I know for a fact it happens @ Carolina.

DC (and the DMV area) has to be one of the most transient regions in the nation....

I think every area has a certain amount of common businesses providing jobs - like utilities, banking, education, healthcare, government and retail/food industries - however, the Seattle area also has some very large employers there, like Boeing, Amazon, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Costco, Zillow, Alaska Airlines - and these companies drag in additional support jobs within the industry.

Not that I'd want to live anywhere closer to Seattle than I already do... :woozy2:

TONS of Government contracting jobs here. TONS of tech in Northern VA. TONS of military, haha....

The DelMarVa area is actually very nice. Montgomery County, MD was always the most wealthy county in the country or at least in the top 3 when I grew up there. I have seen a LOT of this country, and can honestly say it is as good in this area as any I have seen as far as schooling, jobs, income, etc.

Almost took a job at Boeing about a decade ago, would have put me in Seattle. Had to think real long and hard on that one. If I had gotten that same offer about five years prior to that I probably would be a displaced Rams fan up there like you.

I have quite a bit of family up there. Most are wearing neon green too the bastids. So any time we do a big family get together at the lake if I know any of them are coming I make sure to break out my blue 'n yeller boardshorts.

DC area, not the district, haha. Northern Virginia is Silicon Valley East. Has been for decades.

Ticket resale marketplaces have made it so easy and profitable for season ticket holders to sell their tix and they’ve completely changed the landscape.
