All I can do is shake my head. A few months ago most people thought I was so off base about Caleb, and the USC offense. I knew then they were massively overrated. Both the HC, his offense and Caleb. Williams lacks the maturity you want and expect in a top tier talent. He has talent but like Kyler Murray I question his commitment and work ethic. Stay in school is all I can say to him. Go outside and develop his skills. Grow the fuck up and then see if you can make it in the NFL, is my advice to him.

I have no problem with the massively overrated part. Their defense sucks just like last year.

And their OL for some reason has just done a shitter in the last few weeks.

You are probably right about his maturity as well after seeing his comments about staying in school if the right football team doesn't have the #1 pick. That ticked me off. He has talent just like Mahomes and might be a very good QB but as you say, he needs to grow the fuck up and also spend more time reading films of opposing defenses. I have stated over and over that it takes forever for him to read defenses.

If he actually did decide to spend more time reviewing films of opposing defenses, I could see him being another Mahomes. Maybe not quite as good since he is shorter than Mahomes but he definitely would be a top notch QB if he gets his shit together.

Caleb Williams is a stud. I'd love to have him on the Rams. Anybody advising him to stay in school is offering bad advice.

But I will say - USC's defense sure does expose his issues. 50 points and that almost wasn't enough.

He also needs to admit to his short comings and know he still has worked to do. Stating that he had one bad game does not show maturity to me. He should have stated that he wasn't ready for the defense that was being thrown at him and needs to make sure that he reviews more film to make sure that type of defense doesn't mess with him in the next game.
