Yes he did, in fact he was the first one to throw a punch. It's on video.

I must have missed it, I saw Khabibs corner attack Conor but did not see Conor throw a punch. Joe Rogan and the others at ringside must have missed it also.

You can find it, it's out there. I'll look for it too I'm sure I can get the link if you don't see it first.

Mac's description is accurate, people were trying to tamp things down when McGregor took a swipe at someone.

Sure looks to me that Connor was throwing a counter punch. The other guy clearly circles around aggressively to throw down. The other corner guy then suckers from behind.

I don’t really care for either fighter OR the WWE antics that go with the sport.

That said.... I believe @Mackeyser was relaying the second hand accounts he was getting off Twitter. Do I have that right? Sorry but I made it through part of that post until my eyes glazed over.

I found it, Conor did throw a punch, I missed it the 1st time. What I saw the 1st time was the guy in front of him throw a punch followed by the guy behind him throwing 2 punches.

The whole thing is awful for that sport. One good thing that may come out of it is that they clean up the press conference bullshit. Trash talking is one thing, but what White allowed to happen in the lead up to this fight is shameful and disgraceful. That can't be allowed to happen again.

I still can't believe the whiskey press conference, it's like I can't wrap my head around that type of shit. Hideous.

I watched the video you posted, and cant really tell who swung first. Connor was already being held back by security, as well as someone else by the time the camera panned from the melee outside the octagon to inside it.

Not quite what happened, Conor did not swing at anyone after the fight. Khabib went nuts and jumped out going after Conors team. Folowed by Khabibs corner attacking Conor. When Khabibs corner attacked Conor, Conor did nothing to retaliate. It was the worst post fight I have ever seen, I have seen guys talk trash after winning a fight but never have I seen a fighter go after the others corner followed by that fighters corner attcking the other fighter.

That's just factually untrue.

Pretty much everything you said isn't true.

Conor did swing first. There are multiple video angles showing this.

There have been worse outside the ring things, but that doesn't make this one any better.

And it wasn't just talking trash. Conor crossed a red line

Some, but mostly it was watching it live and then coming home and seeing all the phone videos posted on twitter.

The UFC has let Conor get away with far too much.
He has changed the game, but not in a good way.

To add, the UFC also promoted the bus incident for the fight.
I'm not sure what input Dana has but he is the face of the company side of the sport.
He goes on about how he saved the sport and built it to where it is now.
I'm not sure where it is now.
Khabib will be used as a scapegoat, but it runs deeper than that.
The UFC needs to clean its act up.

What part specifically or do you mean just the post-fight stuff?
I know you’re not asking me but both before and after if you were.

They try to make the weigh in look like boxing but it just becomes a circus.

I actually like watching the fights. I just don’t like the sideshow antics. But then again, boxing has taken a similar track over the last couple decades.

I'm not a fan of theatrics like this either.

It's not adding a thing.
