So here's my donation to all of you Rams fans who didn't / couldn't / cannot get to the Rams training camp.

Here's my footage from Saturday's Rams camp in Irvine, CA.

In it you'll hear me:

1. Remind Josh Reynolds how he's talented and appreciated.
2. Get a high five from Westbrook, after telling him my sleeping habits.
3. Tell Malcolm Brown he will have at least 4 TDs this season.
4. Get Hemmingway's attention.
5. Put up with a pretty annoying kid that kept calling the players by the wrong names and just saying "please...please."

That was great, thank you for sharing....And the kids who do that never really bother me much because they don't really know, even though at that age I think I did. Anyway what used to bother me when my wife and I would attend Giant Camp when they held here in Albany was guys that would take in the camp and talk to the players and have no idea what they were talking about.

I remember one exchange with Ryan Hale at DT from Arkansas, but he was a small defensive tackle one guy as he was signing autographs said to him, what weight do you want to get down to. I jump in and added, he actually needs to get bigger, now granted the guy asking the question was about 5'8 150lbs and he turned and looked up at me and said, well, good lord, you should be playing....And I turned to my wife and said maybe the guy is not so clueless.

That's just terrible.
The Rams didn't overindulge her kids to her liking.
In her little tiny clip of video it looks like it was almost edited to not show the players signing items.

And it was just a handful of the 85 + players that must have practiced.

If that's her biggest complaint in life, she needs to shut the hell up.

Even if they're kids, it doesn't mean that they shouldn't be called out by their elders and betters. It honestly reminds me of this extremely annoying (and I mean much more annoying than this kid) kid when I went to a Cardinals game against the Pirates with a friend.

To make a long story short, this child was more belligerent than most drunks, and when we were losing and Francisco Liriano was up to bat, he screamed, "Hit him in the head!" Right after that, when Starling Marte was up to bat, he screamed, "Go home!"

That was the last straw for me. I turned around and told him, "This is not how Cardinals fans behave. Either shut up, or be a Cubs fan."

Naturally, his parents were like, "Stop talking like that to our son, he's only a child, how dare I?!" But the kid shut up for the remainder of the game.

Unless they come out really early and spend 90 minutes, there's just no way they can stop and sign autographs for everyone asking.

On the flip side I suppose it wouldn't hurt to at least acknowledge a group of fans and say something like Robert Woods said: "Sorry I gotta go to practice now." Some eye contact with the fans for 2 literal seconds probably isn't too much to ask.

But expecting them to sign their name for everyone all the time is too much to ask.

Damn - I forgot to mention - thanks for the vid! Being this side of the pond I miss all of this and all you guys that share the pics, your thoughts on training camp really keep me going.

Oh. See in the video where Westbrook is going back into the tunnel with a painting? A fan had just given him a painting they did of him. Was a very good likeness of him. But he was bringing it back in to put it away safe AFTER he just said "I'm late for practice."
Thus you hear me joking with him "I thought you said you had to get to practice?"

So my 21 year old son and I each caught one ball during Greg The Leg's practice field goals at camp. Have any of you ever tried to stand back there and fight the mad rush to catch the field goals?
