asking price for top pick

The Houston Chronicle now says the Texans are asking for a first, second, and third-rounder this year plus a first-rounder in 2015 in exchange for Thursday's No. 1 overall pick.
It's actually a little less than previous reports that had the Texans asking for three first-round picks and a second-rounder, and it's further evidence they're not sold on South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney. Of course, a lot will depend on exactly where the team wanting to trade up is picking. Either way, the Texans will remain open for business all the way up until 8pm ET Thursday and the asking price could very well drop even further as we get closer. The Falcons and aggressive GM Thomas Dimitroff remain the most likely candidate to move up.

no way in hell the Falcons give up that much. Is Mike Ditka still coaching?

More indication they are not sold on Clowney? Maybe true because his best position is 4/3 DE and they could get Mack just a few spots later.

Or, with a new coaching staff they just want some of their own players on the roster and extra picks facilitate that process.
