I realize not everyone is into the XFL, but a pack of us are having fun with it... and a group has been following the BattleHawks.

Ta’amu was awesome last week. On fire.

BattleHawks quarterback Jordan Ta’amu named XFL star of week

St. Louis BattleHawks quarterback Jordan Ta’amu won XFL star of the week honors for Week Four.

Ta’amu claimed 64 percent of the 27,800 votes cast on the XFL’s Twitter account.

Ta’amu completed 20 of 27 passes for 264 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 63 yards in the BattleHawks’ 23-16 victory over the Seattle Dragons on Saturday. He leads the XFL with 1,062 total yards.

The XFL allows fans to decide the league’s top performer in voting for the XFL Star Of The Week. XFL Football Operations nominates one key player from each team after each game.

The players with the most votes from each day advance to the final round Monday, when fans determine the winner on Twitter. The XFL Star Of The Week is the league’s top weekly individual honor.

Ta’amu faced the Houston Roughnecks defense in the final round of voting. The Roughnecks forced five turnovers, four by Landry Jones, in a 27-20 victory over the Dallas Renegades.

Actually I encourage others if you have the time to give it a look, the play has been pretty darn good. Ta’amu has good size and is excellent at running the RPO, also, he seems to be improving week over week in his percentage completion...The St. Louis BattleHawks are a fun bunch to watch and Head Coach/GM Jonathan Hayes has put together an exciting team in the Gateway City.

Yeah, I have enjoyed what I have seen from the XFK thus far. It wss a bit sloppy week one but has tightened up since then. Cool to watch the Battlehawks in our old dome!! I was remembering the good ol' times on that field when I watched their game last week.

They didn't have a preseason, so I expected some sloppy play out of the gate and there was definitely some of that. However, I agree that the teams seem to have improved the last couple weeks (except for a few 12 men on the field penalties...lol).

I’ve been surprised how good the play has been. It’s been enjoyable to watch. (y)

There have been a lot of really exciting plays and games. And, I really like the kickoffs. I think they're way better than the current nfl which, are mostly just touchbacks. And all the behind the scenes stuff with play calls, penalty and replay discussions.

I really like the diversity of the extra point options; not to mention the clock rules within 2 minutes. These two rules make a team have to win the game as it's not easy to sit on a small or medium lead.

I'll shut up...I'm hooked on this league and others definitely need to give it a watch!

Cool deal. Go St Louis!

Anyone else find it a little bit funny that once again the St Louis team has blue unis to go with those red seats?

Thought it was because the Stallion colors were going to be black and red. I've seen those seats first hand. They are NOT Budweiser colored. So if that's the case, someone is color blind. Regardless, the point remains.
