Imo at this stage in CJ's career I think DRich has more upside than him. Sure DRich will never have the 4.2 speed CJ had, but they are very similar backs imo. The difference being their age. DRich seems to be one of the forgetten men heading into 2014, but I think he can be a good change of pace back, and at a fraction of the salary CJ would command.

Exactly, and I think Richardson kinda sucks. He's a one trick pony and that one trick doesn't include running between tackle. Dude can get exactly what the OL gives him, nothing more. Our running game stunk with him in there.

Wasnt Softli supposed to have some super duper computer program that evaluated players for FA and the draft when he was working for Carolina and the Rams? Guess his PC picked up a virus. this is utter rubbish. No way I see us putting our hands in our pockets for a back who would be 4th on our depth chart currently.
