I crunched the numbers, because the sites don't have updated totals:

1. Buffalo 48
2. Philadelphia 44
3. Jacksonville 39
4. Minnesota 38
5. Denver 38
6. Baltimore 37
7. St. Louis 35
8. Detroit 35
9. Indianapolis 35

Tied for 7. Considering that just 8 weeks ago we were sitting at #32 with 1 sack, 35 sacks is quite a feat.

We ever get credited for that sack at Kansas City for Quinn's third one?

34 sacks in 8 weeks is quite a pace! Still wouldn't set the team season sack record (72 by the 84 Bears), but not far off.

Does that count the Quinn sack against KC?

I read in a different thread, that we may be the best team ever, with a losing record. It's because the defense finally became after many losses, what Williams meant it to be. We are causing unreasoning terror with shifting defensive formations, and blitzes. And the QB's? They are getting hit. Not always a sack, mind you...but abused, just the same. I still would not be surprised if Quinn threatened for the sack lead after the next 3 games.
