To my generation, Gen X, he was the funniest home videos host and father on Full House. In my opinion, he was a better stand up comedian.

Yeah, he was a funny guy. I remember the first time i heard one of his stand ups in the 90s when all I knew him from was Full House and AFHV... was like... wait... that's the Full House guy telling that crass and dirty joke? Was a bit shocking lol. But everyone has said he was the kindest man you'll meet.
