Rams really do seem to be trying to fill holes in FA. We still need a 3rd down back. Tavon can't pass block back there. The more we fill holes now, the more flexibility we have in the draft.

Definitely underwhelming, seems to be a decent pass catcher out of the backfield.

Personally I would rather see Justin Davis further developed, that kid was electric, needs to work on his ball security for sure.

I'm with you I thought Davis had a spark to him, just needed a little more time.

Interesting.

I'm a big fan of Brown and Justin Turner...and obviously we have Gurley and Tavon..

I actually like Mike Davis. Think he would be every bit as good as Brown and maybe even an upgrade. I’d welcome him as good RB depth.

I like his vision and quick cuts. He has some power too. Can catch too.

Who?

When I first heard this...I thought Mike Davis...from USC.....and I figured they mixed up Mike Garrett and Anthony Davis...

Will be funny if he ends up with better production with us and has a breakout game against the Seahawks. Will give him the benefit of the doubt since that Seahawks O-line is Spagnuolo bad

Brown doesn't blow up anyone's skirt. But he played a very good game. He played solidly when Todd was out. He showed a comparable skill set to stay within our original offense and wasn't a bad pass protector when called upon. But just like Dunbar last year, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence.........but it certainly wasn't in hindsight. I guess that is why Lance is looking for a new team....and Brown is preparing to take on the next round of contenders. As to Mike Davis, other than special teams...... I can't see why.

In watching video of Mike Davis a few things caught my eye. 1st, though he's only 5'9" he doesn't shy away from contact. In fact he seems to enjoy initiating the contact. 2nd, he's very good at juking his defenders and making them look stupid. 3rd, he doesn't fumble much. 4th, he plays smart. 5th, he's a good receiver, whether he's coming out of backfield or lining up as a receiver(Which I only seen twice).

Now I'm still on the Malcolm Brown band wagon, but it doesn't hurt to kick a few tires.

Would be an upgrade at our #3 rb spot. M. Brown clearly our #2

With Davis durability would concern me, once he signed with the Seahawks and played well in his first game, he got hurt, then did come back and finish the season. Quite frankly, it's a good year for RB's in the draft and there are a few that offer versatility, but Davis showcased the ability to make people miss.

Let us not forget Justin Davis too, who showcased great burst, just needed to work on his ball security, which I'm sure we all get to see in preseason come August.

Meh. I think he's a solid back up, however, wouldn't it be much more cost effective to draft a back with one of our 5 6th round picks? Not sure what kind of money Davis would get, but I'd think a later pick would make less. Of course, that is assuming one of the worthwhile backs is there. I'd be happy with Darrel Williams in the 6th.
