Lets talk about it

Here are the remaining games

Oct. 29th Bye Week
Nov. 5th @ Giants (W) Should be an easy win, Giants a mess. Jet Lag better not factor in!
Nov. 12th vs. Texans (W) This is a 50/50 But I think Wade will adjust just enough for win.
Nov. 19th @ Vikings (W) Can't see their Offense matching us, we pull out in second half.
Nov. 26th vs. Aints (L) (Brees & balanced O and new found Defense. Lose in shootout.
Dec. 03 @ Cards ( um WIN) No Palmer, No Chance. PERIOD!
Dec. 10 vs. Eagles (L) Eagles maybe best team in NFC after all said & done
Dec. 17th @ Sh!tHawks (W) Really think we could lose up their to be honest.
Dec. 24th @ Titans (W) Chance for a let down game. Their Offense might surprise us
Dec. 31th vs. Whiners (W) F that we close out on a win. Whiners may mail it in in SoCal

12-4 Rams

I think I got my homer goggles on. Texans & Sh!tHawks could easily be L's. Texans have an underrated team. Balanced Team imho.
Never easy going into Seattle and I think since I live in the NW I just can't stomach saying we lose.
And could the final game vs. the Whiners be bench our starters game????I pray to the football gods we don't do this. McVay should know better vs. our rivals.

Thoughts???

I'd be very happy if that's how it all pans out. It seems optimistic to me because it assumes that we don't drop a game against a team that we arguably should beat (Tennessee, Seattle, Houston, Minnesota). However, it also assumes that we don't pull off an upset over NO or Philly. So I can't complain.

Personally, I'm just hoping for 10-6. It won't be easy, but it's possible. For now, let's just use the bye to regroup and make sure we get a W in New York.

Here is how I look at it.

Any given Sunday any team can win, and we have been healthy thus far so must remain healthy but....

should be 6-2 after the Giants game.

We SHOULD win the following:
Cards, Titans, Niners. Niners will looks to lose acutally, due to the QB sweepstakes.

That gives us 9 wins. We will need 10 to get to the playoffs. 11 for a lock.

Texans, Vikings and Aints are all winnable but losable games as well. Win two and your at 11 games.

Seattle and Eagles - I think we can win one of those.

IF we stay healthy 10 wins to me is a done deal. 11 very possible. 12 wins would be Amazing.

STAY HEALTHY!!

But what a nice year to make a run:
Seattle looks old and Oline a mess. Cards and Niners are toast.
Green bay is done.
Minnesota loses Their best RB.
Atlanta having issues.

Who else besides the Eagles are we threatened by?

Unless we have a stretch where we struggle, I think at the very least we earn a wild card.

That said, it'd be great to go from worst O to best O AND win the division.

Doesn't matter, tho, because there's nothing, but the BYE, then NYG. Love McVay's focus on the next game as the ONLY game.

That would make the Rams 8-0 on the road (9-0 if the London game is added).

I see a 11-5 finish, losing to the Vikings, Eagles and Hawks.

In any case, I can't see any scenario that has Rams with less than 10 wins.

Agreed I'm hoping for a 10 win season too, thinking 11 will be best case.

Gotta think the Aint will be a factor and Skins if they make it into the post season.

Oct. 29th Bye Week
Nov. 5th @ Giants (W) We play well on the road and Giants O isn't good.
Nov. 12th vs. Texans (W) This will be the Texans' 2nd straight road game and winning the second of two road games in increasingly rare.
Nov. 19th @ Vikings (L) Low scoring affair that favors the home team. Their D is also very good. I think if our O continues to progress, we just may win this, but oof, is it close.
Nov. 26th vs. Aints (W) Not a great road team and it's not like we don't know the WCO now...
Dec. 03 @ Cards ( um WIN) No Palmer, No Chance. PERIOD!
Dec. 10 vs. Eagles (W) If our D continues to improve, the Eagles will be grounded.
Dec. 17th @ Sh!tHawks (W) I think this game is a knockdown, dragout slugfest that we win.
Dec. 24th @ Titans (L) Chance for a let down game. As I said, winning back to back road games is tough and I don't think we do it twice (London counts as a road game for both)
Dec. 31th vs. Whiners (W) Shanahan has his team in most games, but for the last game of the season on the road, the only way we lose this is because our playoff position is decided regardless of outcome. If we're playing to win, we win.

That's how I see us based on how we're playing right now.

If we do this, I think we'll be primed for a deep playoff run.

Hate to be boring, but I can think of plenty of reasons why we win each of these, and why we lose each of these.

I'm fine with just taking it week by week.

Well, I am not going to sleep on the Giants game. They also have a bye this week, and are getting Sterling Shepperd back. I look for them to pick up a WR and work them in as well. Engram is legit and with a 2nd weapon (Shepperd) the Giants offense isnt as impotent as it was yesterday. We know firs hand that a top defense can start season slow but turn it on when it needs to.
Only 2 lock games IMO are the 49ers and Cardinals

I see it exactly like this but I really think we beat the Hawks but lose to the Titans.

11-5 seems like where we are most likely headed and I’m excited asf!

I am really looking forward to the Eagles game. The "Who is better, Goff or Wentz" game.

If the Rams and Eagles continue to win, this game will be Super-Hyped and spotlighted weeks before the game.

This game is a lock to be a sellout at the Colesium with playoff implications..

Let's not forget, that the Rams have literally never beaten Eli Manning.

In fact, only one game has ever been close, and that was last year's London game. I'm definitely not sleeping on the Giants.

Seattle's schedule is insanely favorable for them. They rarely lose at home and their only tough road games are @JAX and @DAL, which obviously we know are winnable games.

Like most others, I think these are our toughest remaining games:

@MIN
@SEA
@TEN

BUT, these games:

HOU
NO
PHI

Are against what looks like some good teams. And our two let downs have come at home against teams that appear to be in the same tier as these teams - so that's 6 tough games, 7 if you count the Giants.

I'm not sure winning the division is feasible with Seattle's schedule - I just want to make the playoffs, whatever it takes.

Ginas: Win.
Everytime we play these cats its the worst game I've ever seen, from both teams. This team is much more disciplined than last, so i see us going in and taking care of business.

Texans: Loss. Containing Watson is going to be our main focus. That dude has created some amazing plays out of chaos. I think they edge one out here in a close game.

Viks: Win. Their D is Damn good, but i refuse to believe Case Keenum beats us, so that leaves their RB. Ours is much better and i see Gurley winning this game for us.

Aints: Win. Our D holds them in check and our O exposes some of their weaknesses.

Cards: Win.
I dont see them somehow pulling off what they did a couple years ago when they were plagued with injuries (keep winning). I think they will continue to decline.

Iggles: Loss.
They have the most experienced and complete team we face on the schedule. But if we can pull out a win, I think we can beat anybody.

Shecocks: Win.
We dont shoot ourselves in the foot this game. We let them know who's in charge of the division for years to come.

Titans: Win.
Very up and down team. Have beaten 2 good teams, but have lost or barely won against some really bad teams. Considering we've put teams away who are just as inconsistent and much better, I don't see anything but a win here.

Whiners: Win.
This one won't be as high of scoring. The niners are bad, but they're a good bad team. They'll be much more prepared this time around but i think our play calling wins.

Yep, this might seem like a pipe dream and I never drink the kool aid, but from where these teams stand on paper, as of now, this is how I see our schedule. The Texans could be a very winnable game and we could go down in either Sea or the NO. No reason we should not go 10-6 this season at the very least.

Nov. 5th @ Giants (W) We 'just' win this one. Giants have a good D, but Rams D makes Manning makes some errors.
Nov. 12th vs. Texans (L) Watson still is a mystery, and the Rams don’t get any TDs.
Nov. 19th @ Vikings (W) We win, because Bradford isn’t playing, and we make Case look silly….it is a dogfight like the 2015 classic. Is the word "Bradford" allowed on this board??
Nov. 26th vs. Aints (L) Saints are a better team than people think. Brees makes us look disorganized.

Dec. 03 @ Cards (W) No Palmer, but it is a very close game.
Dec. 10 vs. Eagles (W) Wentz is so gifted physically, but he hasn’t faced a defense like ours. The Eagles only win if theycan run the ball on us.
Dec. 17th @ Hawks (W) We are the better team, and we win.
Dec. 24th @ Titans (L) Mariotta’s legs are healthy and we are in for a looooong day, and can’t score enough TDs
Dec. 31th vs. Whiners (W) We win to secure the division.

Switch the Hawks and the TItans and you still get 11-5.

10-6 is probably reality.

I wouldn't consider it "insanely favorable". They have to go up against the Texans, Foreskins, Falcons, Iggles and Jags before they face us again. That 4 good defenses and a decent offense in the Falcons. 4 defenses that will give us plenty of tape to view how to take advantage of an already questionable oline. Then they have the cowgirls after us. I'd say our remaining games are more favorable to us than theirs are to them.
