What do you see heading into the bye?

I could see: L, W, L, W, W

I could see better than that, too.

Not sure I am ready to buy into Caleb Williams, but who knows with Chicago? Could be a tough road game.

I think the 49’ers could collapse if certain chips fall. Wish we had them later than week 3.

Lions in Detroit week 1 is tough.

Here's the Rams' complete 2024 schedule:

With so many new faces on defense, I can see a tough time early for some of those young guys; however, if the Rams can go into the bye above .500 they’ll be in good shape.

If they can beat the 9ers in week 3 for one of those wins, they’ll be in great shape. I don’t see that as too far fetched going into week 3–the home opener to boot. After working through some things the first 2 weeks, the 9er game could be the coming out party for this young, hungry defense. A longshot with only 2 weeks under their belt but…

I like breaking season into quarters. And showing improvement for the Rams from Q1-Q2-Q3-Q4.

With the 17 game schedule I’ll make the quarters:

Q1: week 1-5
Bye
Q2: Week 7-10
Q3:Week 11-14
Q4: Week 15-18

The Rams will have a lot of new faces coming out of gate so I’m ok with 3-2 in weeks 1-5. But after the bye week: 3-1 or better for each remaining quarter of season. Record of 12-5.

6-1, with the only loss being to the Bills after we won the Super Bowl.

There’s absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t be 5-0 going into the bye week.
I think we’ve built a stronger team, but it’s hard to say what life after AD will be like, and with so many new pieces, our defense might not be settled early on. Then again teams won’t know how to attack it yet either, so who knows?

4-1

Honestly, just kick the door down in week one and the Rams could ride that tone for weeks.

Fuck that, I’m going with 6-0.

Yeah, we’re going to win one game so convincingly the NFL counts it twice, dammit.

I think our offense will be a juggernaut. It's strong on the Oline, WR corps, RB room, and Matthew Stafford will be a straight up soul snatchin' dealer. Matthew will play with a clean jersey all year. Our defense will have a pair for Florida State's team on the Dline that may click immediately. I don't think the rest of the NFL knows how good this team will be.
4-1 at the bye.

I think I saw that starting out we're underdogs to Detroit, Niners and the Bears - favored over the Cardinals and Packers.

I don't see how we lose to the Packers - McVay has never beaten LaFleur and we have the better team and are finally at home. We are winning that game.

My heart says 4-1 or 5-0, but my head says 3-2 would be a great start considering three of those teams were playoff teams last year and look to be better, while the Cards and Bears are both much improved.

So I think we will be 4-1, but I'd be happy with 3-2.

I never predict or concede a loss. So 5-0. If our offense is as good as we expect it to be and our defense performs as well as the 2023 did (above all expectations) early on, there is no reason we can't be 5-0. I expect our defense to be more than solid.
