Why u say that's his favorite? Spruce was with mannion in the 1 preseason game he played... Still dong get all the love for spruce

Great hands and precise routes are independent of the competition faced. Spruce has real potential.

Not sure the kid will ever be able to stay healthy, however, glad they finally made the move and I'm anxious to see what Countess brings to the table, albeit another Auburn guy.

I don't know either. He stayed healthy in college. But that may or may not be meaningful.

I remember Countess from college. Talented kid but a bit small. Pretty good player for Michigan and Auburn. Although, he was a bit up and down. Hopefully, our DB Coach has coached him up a bit. As I recall, he was a very good athlete.

I think it has more to do with the number of WRs on the roster than anything else. They didnt want to risk waiving him and none of the active WRs have given a reason to be cut. The only reason Cooper has been able to make the 46 on game day is because of his STs play and even that has only been the past few weeks. I think they kept Spruce with the thought that 1 of the WRs, possibly Quick may struggle and they would need Spruce on gameday, but that hasnt happened. Just 1 more piece to the puzzle that we wont see until next year, hopefully Goff is the only missing piece to make the playoffs this year, than add Spruce next year and it is Super Bowl or bust.

Can't find link, but Fisher said in an interview Goff requested rams to sign Spruce because they had worked out together before the draft.

Finally, that little saga is over. We can move on this season and free up a valuable roster spot. I really was anticipating seeing Spruce this year but I guess he just couldn't get healthy. That was quite perplexing for the last two months.

I really wanted to see what this kid had in him but I hope next year he makes it tough for us to cut him once again fully healthy!
