I love the Rams, have been a fan for 35 years. But these prices are just out of line, not to mention the 50 year time table they have to pay back the 175k.
I don't wish the Rams or NFL any harm but seeing this makes me wish the NFL would just crash n burn.
Does that make me a bad guy?

Honestly, the whole PSL thing rubs me the wrong way. But because of the money the concept brings, the Rams came to LA, so I can't be too angry.

I'm not paying a dime for PSL's or season tickets in the Inglewood stadium. I just can't justify dropping over 5k to watch football live when the home experience is cheaper and better IMO. Only thing I'll miss is the tailgating and I'll still go to some games through tickets of friends or 3rd party brokers. They've priced out all of the die hards in these new mega stadiums.

.

In 50 years $100k will be equivalent to probably $10k. Great investment.

Yeah dude, the guys that go to a game just to pick a fight are assholes. Rams don't want those people, why would they? Ruins the experience for others, and makes going to a game not family friendly.

If you go to a game and a fight happens to break out, then it happens to break out. If you go to a game looking for a fight, then you're just an icehole.

The NFL doesn't want those people, and figure that raising the price will price them out, because you're less likely to go to a game and start fights if the ticket is more expensive.
I'm all for a no asshole experience but pricing out good average people is the wrong way to do it. I don't know what fucked up existence you coasties are willing to tolerate but that that shit won't fly where I'm from. It goes beyond the fighting its the thug atmosphere that has to be eliminated. Why pay that kind of money to get assaulted with that BS? Expectations have to be raised by strict enforcement of a most diligent nature inside the stadium and out. Starting a fight, intimidation, abusive language it all has to stop. If an average family can't attend because of cost, assholes or both then the business model will fail.

Watching a football game live has been a declining "fan experience" for some time now. The breaks in the action and the costs are terrible.

What do you mean? I'm lost and trying to understand what you are saying.

If an average family can't attend because of cost, assholes or both then the business model will fail.

An "average" family hasn't been able to go to NFL games for awhile and the attendance is proving that out. You can't ask 500-1000 bucks for 3 and a half hours of a declining game experience. And that's not in the good seats, the cost in the good seats is higher and you have to get a PSL.

As far as the asshole portion. From my experience it's the drunk guys who CAN afford the tickets that are the issue.

If I lived in an NFL city, which I did most of my life in the Cleveland area, and had to pay 600 bucks to take everyone in the family to a game I'd make the experience at home a great event and a great time every week before I spent that kind of money.

Cuban may prove to be right about the NFL.

He won't keep it cheap, he's going to keep it as high priced as he can.

@bnw beat me to it, there isn't enough money to placate SK.

Technically the stadium and the rest of the buildings are 2.8BIL and the stadium portion is 1.8BIL I think.

But one thing I know is you can't keep the icehole out LOL.

It's an unbreakable addiction for people like him.
The stadium it self is 2.8 billion. The development portion is different and will start after the stadium is built. All the money from the PSLS are going to the funding of the stadium other funding will be needed for the development.

I don't think thats right..........the entire development is that amount.

The stadium isn't 2.8BIL.

They said you would get your money back in 50 years. So if you pay $100k it will only be worth around $10k if you're alive when they refund that money back to you.

Naw it's just the stadium. They keep calling his stadium the most expensive if it's only 1. Whatever billion then it's not and he should have took the STl deal. His stadium is 2.8 billion the other land he is going to be basically renting it out to for other people to build on it. The same way ballpark village is the same way Patriots place is.

Don't you think they should have a winning season before they start charging an arm and a leg.

I hope they don't sell but there are always stupid people with entirely too much money. PSL's IMO are the worst idea in sports history.
Yeah, I never got it.
Well, I get the greed aspect of it.
But, if I'm buying seat rights should t I get to see Pink Floyd or whoever right?
