Morning Ram-blings: On the Rams and L.A.
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/12489/morning-ram-blings-on-the-rams-and-l-a

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The rumors and speculation surrounding the future of the St. Louis Rams are only going to continue to heat up as we trudge toward the end of the team's lease at the Edward Jones Dome.

That lease expires following the season and with that, there's been plenty of discussion about the Rams possibly moving back to Los Angeles. Over at 101 ESPN, a local sports radio station that happens to hold the rights to Rams broadcasts, host Randy Karraker recently said on the air that he'd been told the Rams moving back to Los Angeles is a "done deal."

The statement only fueled more speculation but Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff went on with Karraker and "The Fast Lane" on Thursday to discuss the team and its situation.

The audio from that discussion can be found here.

In the interview, Demoff says no decision has been made about the Rams future but also didn't offer much in the way of reassurances, either. Of course, that should be expected since the decision ultimately falls in the hands of owner Stan Kroenke.

From the discussion, here's one sample of what Demoff had to say:

"There has been no decision made," Demoff said. "There is no done deal. There is nothing like that."

I'm not going to add much more here because there's going to be no resolution here anytime soon one way or another. I'll let you listen to it and draw your own conclusions.

Speaking of Los Angeles and no decisions being made, Jim Thomas at stltoday.com also offered this story with quotes from commissioner Roger Goodell on the progress (or lack thereof) of a team playing in Los Angeles.

All that's left to do from here is to wait and see what happens next. Everything is clearly still on the table.
