Expecting the usual turnover among NFL playoff teams? Not in 2014 –LaCanfora
he NFL is king, at least in part, because of its unpredictability. Nothing that has occurred in the past three months has altered the balance of power in either conference as we examine each division.

Morning Ram-blings: Starting lineups?
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/8752/morning-ram-blings-starting-lineups

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- We aren't even to training camp, let alone the upcoming organized team activities yet but with the draft finished and free agency wrapped up, there isn't much left to speculate on or discuss right now.

So now is as good a time as any to begin projecting how lineups and rosters might look when we do finally arrive at training camp. NFL.com attempted to do just that last week, projecting the starting 11 on each side of the ball for every team in the league.

For the St. Louis Rams, most of the projections appear to be accurate, at least given what we know right now. On offense, the prediction offers three receivers with no fullback or extra tight end for the offense, leaving Chris Givens, Austin Pettis and Tavon Austin to fill the three wideout spots. With Stedman Bailey suspended, Pettis may indeed get another opportunity while Givens and Austin seem destined to play and play a lot.

Still, I'd think Kenny Britt and Brian Quick will get plenty of chances to win that spot, too. Even though Pettis is the most proven of that trio, at least as a member of the Rams, the team would probably most like to see Quick emerge with Britt the next option.

On defense, there really isn't much to disagree with, either. Rodney McLeod seems like he'll get the first shot to continue his role at safety alongside T.J. McDonald though it will be interesting to see if the Rams ultimately hope to pair Mo Alexander with McDonald.

At defensive tackle, there's a split between Kendall Langford and Aaron Donald for the spot next to Michael Brockers. That's probably a fair way to put it though I expect Langford to remain as the starter with Donald used a bit more situationally when things start out. Really, it probably won't matter since both will play and play a lot.

Turnover in the NFC West is likely as the Rams take 1 of the playoff spots! :sneaky:
