Morning Ram-blings: Breaking down stadium plans

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- As St. Louis moves forward with its proposal and plans to try to keep the NFL in the city, there are plenty of differing opinions from sports fans and media alike.

But what does the financial community and those who look at such things with an eye toward the economics of it all, think? Well, on Tuesday afternoon, Forbes contributor Patrick Rishe offered his thoughts on the efforts being made in St. Louis to build a new stadium as part of a downtown revitalization project.

I won't offer critiques of someone else's opinion but it's worth a read for those wanting to see what someone with a financial background and ties to both St. Louis and Los Angeles thinks.
