Click the link below as this didn't copy and paste well......Here is the Quote about Rams top speed. I'm not sure if it means the receiver who caught the ball. Seems like that would be it. Any thoughts?

Davis, who died in 2011, would probably hate the current version of the Raiders. As a receiving group, the Raiders are the second slowest in the N.F.L., according to Sportradar. If we look at every pass play in the N.F.L. this season through Week 16, and then average the top speed of each receiver across all of those plays, the Rams have the fastest group with an average of 13.32 m.p.h. The Raiders, at 11.96, are slower than every other team except for the Packers, who are more than a mile and a half per hour slower than the Rams at 11.74 mph.

How is this possible with Kupp? He's slow and can't create separation-- surely he'd bring the team average down.

A very fun read. Thanks. We saw Fournette's speed first hand, unfortunately. Barron makes the list at #1 LB, pretty cool. Gurley is fast as fuck, we already knew that, but he is back 100%. I'd like to check out the full list.

Gurley also clocked last year a 22+ mph
train

NYT had Gurley at 21.98, or .07 mph slower than Fournette.

(Of course, Fournette had a 90 yard run to get to top speed, and no one was catching Gurley anyway.)

Not sure how they counted receivers, but this article was from last winter, before Cooks. Though Sammy was fast we're probably faster now.

But guess who is the fastest linebacker? Mark Barron. Another reason why Wade Phillips wants him and why the posters who keep wanting to cut him are just wrong.

Without Watkins and Austin the overall speed is going to be down a bit.

But that won't matter, just keep delivering the balls to playmakers and everything will be fine and dandy.

Man, if we still had Donnie Avery...

I wonder how much this gets affected by losing Tavon though.

Woods was the 3rd fastest ball carrier in week 9 according to nextgen stats, clocking in at 20.43mph. Gurley was the 2nd and Watkins was the 4th.
