Really hoping the situation with Akers lights a fire on his ass and he hits all the holes today to establish himself as our back again. Lord we will need on the contributions in the run game to beat the Succs in Tampa. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't play that pussy cushion coverage crap. Letting Evans get a head of steam off the lines is a terrible idea always. Guess who likes to throw short passes? This D hands those to him.

The Bucs are the only team that is averaging less yards per carry than us. They have a few more rushing yards because they have more attempts.

On defense we're in a 7 way tie for 7th in yards per carry against us. Not too bad. The Bucs defense is 24th. If we can't at least have a decent run game today then I have to think its not gonna happen this year and we'll have to be one dimensional. It can work if they can protect better. Robinson and Jefferson have to be more involved too.

I have no idea if they will get it together offensively this year or not. When we had line problems in 2019 we had 44 offensive touchdowns in 16 games. In 2022 we have 13 offensive touchdowns in 7 games. Almost a touchdown per game less than 2019. Was that line with all their problems better than this line?
