On to this week. The Mighty Los Angeles Rams (7-0) head home for the first time in a month to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. (3-2-1) . Who will emerge victorious?

I feel like the refs and the league as a whole will be protecting their golden boy Rogers as much as possible. I like our chances, but it wouldn't surprise me if how the seldom-penalized Rams are over scrutinized this game-- especially on defense. I think GB wins on a last second FG set up by some stupid penalty.

Things I think:
GB has lots of time to study film and get healthy. This is a mimic league, on the defensive side of the ball, GB is going to try to replicate what Denver did. Bring pressure from the outside (Matthews), give Gurley 5 yards a carry, keep the CBs in a deeper zone and dare McVay to beat himself by throwing the ball too often. Whit and Have can win against Matt, and hopefully McVay sticks with the run.

On offense, GB starts with jet sweeps and outside runs to keep our interior at bay. They'll try to set up play action for later in the game.

As long as the Rams stay focused on what they're good at (running the ball and caving the interior), GB will struggle to stay in the game. With that said:

This and the Chiefs game are the only two games I predicted as losses before the season began.

At this point in time I may look to have the Saints beat us next week and we beat the Pack this week.

If we let the Pack hang around into the second half Aaron Rodgers is as dangerous as there ever has been in the league. I hope this team goes in with a gameplan for all 60 minutes but we have to score points early and often. Exhaust Rodgers efforts early.
