Oh that would be a dream to go to an opening day. Never been to one in my life yet. It would be so cool to meet some you guys finally.

But life kinda sucks right now. In the middle of moving and it's turned into a huge long ass nightmare that might not end until close to December.

I will be drinking beer on that day though no matter where I am. :cheers:

Fro knows photo is pretty good.
The Angry photographer is also good.
search around on you tube and find someone that you connect with.
1. learn to shoot in manual until then Shutter priority is a great stepping stone for sports or Action Photography.
2. For sports and action shutter priority with your shutter speed at least twice your focal length. I shoot at a very fast shutter speed often 4 times focal length or more. EX: 300mm lens = 1200 @ 400mm I often am using a shutter speed above 2500
3. shoot Raw or raw w/jpeg and learn to use an editing program (lightroom is pretty easy and there are lots of tutorials)
This is from my experience and only my experience photograpy is VERY subjective.

That is more than a total WHIFF from Big Rob Havenstein. Man was so off balanced he looks very humbling. Lets get this over and done with as Long is not a true speed demon. Starting to sweat bullets and Rob needs to start holding now. Going to the ground in just helmets is kinda scary when considering where he is in his balance and leg foundation. Lets go Hav. we are really counting on you.
