What team, or teams, makes you feel like the Rams will need things to break their way and all phases playing well to get a win in this years post-season?

Me? Well since you asked........

In the AFC its the Steelers and Patriots. Those are two really excellent teams. Both can play great defense, and slay you on offense. If the Rams get to the SB and face one of these two teams I'm on edge up until the SB is over, win or lose!

Nobody else in the AFC would have me worried one bit. Not one bit.

In the NFL it's only the Vikings.

Yeah the Eagles are a tough team, the defense is terrific. But that O is not going to score 30 with Foles, at least not against the Rams. On defense they don't match up well with the Rams style of offense. Plus they may get knocked out in the first game, in which case they are not a worry anyway.

The Saints and Panthers are good but I don't think they can keep up. I may be a wee bit nervous but am confident that the Rams could beat both of them, even on the road. The Saints will struggle v. the Rams run defense, and so will the Panthers. Double whammy for the Panthers is that Newton would be running for his life and probably wouldn't get more than 180 yards passing.

Nobody else that is in/ends up in even moves the needle for me on the worry factor.

So I'm thinking if the Vikings get upset in their first playoff game that the Rams have a very good chance of getting to the SB.

The harsh part of that is they will face two teams that are more seasoned, balanced and playoff experienced. And both teams have great coaches. That said I'd rather see the Steelers than the Patriots.

I hope I see that.

If a team just out right beats us, it would suck but I could live with it.

What I don't want is for the Rams to give the game away (turnovers) or have the refs steal one ala the "tuck rule".

I can live with being outplayed and coming back with high hopes for next season.

Nobody, they should be nervous to play us!
I agree 10000%!! "NOBODY!!" The Panthers are too Up and Down and I just don't see McVay losing to the same Team twice!! So foget the Viqueen's and the Iggle's!!

We are going to the Super Bowl! Probably against the Steeler's, but I would really like to see the Rams "Lay Waste to Brady and the Cheatriot's!

CALL ME AN OLD HOMER ALL YOU WANT, WHEN IT'S ALL OVER, YOU'LL ALL BE SAYING .. " Got-Damn Dave Nailed it!!"

For me it’s the Vikings.

But to make the playoffs, you are a good team. We could be beat by any of them...

But, I honestly think we have the most complete team and a legit shot at winning it all.

Losing GZ really hurts. That still has me nervous.

Well, John Clayton just said that we must be afraid of the Seahawks, which is why we are resting our starters vs the 49ers....That's right, no blue font. He thinks we are afraid of facing the Hawks in the Coliseum as the 3rd seed, so we are throwing this game. They just lap that shyte up in the Pacific Northwest like the dogs they are....

Saints for me.

Same. We were fortunate last time with their corners out. We were able to get up quick and early, which kinda took away their running game. But our defense still made Brees look very un-Breese-like.

Eagles don't scare me. Vikings don't scare me. Panthers are too inconsistent to predict.

Our biggest enemy might be ourselves haha

I am not impressed by Pittsburgh or NE's defenses. Pittsburgh hasn't looked the same since they lost Shazier.

They owe us an ass whooping after the smack down we gave them.

Hoping they don't get in this year

I agree with this. The Shehawks are going to want revenge and will be extra motivated if they get in.

Saints. We've beat them before, but they are a team that i dont think we can beat twice in a row. We've lost to Eagles and Viks already so i dont see us losing to them again.

@LesBaker, I know you're just curious to see how other Rams fans think about what team is probably the strongest to knock the Rams out of the 2018 NFC playoffs.

This particular season, I respect all of the NFC contestants and everyone of them make me equally nervous in their own unique way.

At Minnesota, At Philly, or home or away vs either Carolina or New Orleans?

( VS Atlanta or Seattle ) both seasoned experienced playoff teams that most everyone simply guarantees a victory over. Is there really a safe path for the Rams?

Fans are the ones that fear other teams based on match-ups, home field advantage (injuries) and how the regular season played out.

When the playoffs begin, the contenders are the teams that fear and worry about who and where they will be playing.

Teams with a championship mentality don't have a preference or worry once the final playoff seeds are official.

I respect the hell out of this NFC field of playoff teams. A bounce here or a call, there and any of them could make it to the dance.

As well balanced a field as I can recall, tbh.

But if I had to choose just one to most be concerned about, it would have to be the Vikings by a slight margin.

I’m wary of the seahags, everybody’s throwing dirt on them and they know what it takes to win it all. They might be able to muster one more run if they get a few breaks.
I hope they can deal with their emotions, the whole team is really inexperienced, it’d be nice to have a kicker you can rely on when things get tight, but on the other hand you can’t put the game in the hands of a guy who was wearing a suit and tie 2 weeks ago, so you might as well stay in attack mode.

We have plenty of confidence heading into post-season play - and for good reason! That being said, it's the playoffs. The Rams should not take any team lightly at this point in the season. IMO, here are the NFC teams (in order from highest to least worrisome) that the Rams must bring their A-game against:
1. Vikings
2. Saints
3. Eagles
4. Panthers
5. Falcons
6. Seahawks

True. But if I was a hawk fan I’d want nothing to do with the Rams. It was the best total and utter beatdown I’ve seen in a long time.

Plus the Steelers have never beaten the Patriots when Brady has been at Quarterback...The Saints because when the Rams played them, their two starting CB's were our and although the Vikings have quite a defense, I gotta believe Rams can stop Case Keenum.
