I really don't know much about this guy. 6'1" 208 played in a tough division threw for over 3000 yds all 4 years he started. He had an ACL tear late this year so he probably won't be one of those 1st round guys.

Could he be the guy to develop behind Bradford??

I don't think so, I think we'll wait until the 5th or 6th round to grab a QB, if we do. I wouldn't be shocked if they decide to keep Clemons for another year if they don't like anyone in the draft that much. We have bigger holes that we should focus on before we pick up someone we hope never see's the field, so unless the value is simply too great, I would rather wait until the later rounds, use the first four rounds to shore up the O-Line, secondary, etc.

So you think Murray will be gone a lot earlier than the 5th round? I agree on the hope he never sees the field, I would prefer to see Bradford dominating for the next 7 or 8 years with no more injuries.

He would be a lower round guy we could get. I would still love to get Mccarron in the third though. But I fear he will be taken in the 2nd.

I have to agree with blue on not drafting a QB before the 5th there are still a lot of ???? on this team and QB is about the 5th most important position of need in my book.

I am the biggest Bradford supporter you will find, but I do hope there is some plan to bring in someone more capable than KC to be the back up next year.

Better than 4-5 with a make shift O line? and no WRs with more than 3 years of experience and a rookie RB? I understand there are QBs out there that can throw better than KC but can they run this offense as well as he? I think we'll see him back after his performance this year.

4TH round talent. He may go early if some team gets panicky. Career back up is his NFL arc. Think Clemens.
Not a bad development guy later in the draft.

I think someone will grab him in the 3rd or 4th round, as the draft goes on, teams always get a little quick to grab a QB, and with the success of some lower round guys, teams will be willing to take that risk in the 3rd or 4th round if they like a guy enough. I think some teams will like him enough to pull the trigger.

This is where we differ. You see a backup that lead us to 4-5. I see a defense that wasn't there the first half of the year that carried us. I see 2 or 3 games that we lost because of him.

I like him and would be okay with him being our number 3 QB. I like the energy he brings and how his experience helps our younger guys, including Sam. I just want someone else as our number 2.

OK who else that is available would you like as our #2, what does he bring to the team and how much would you pay him? I see maybe 1 guy based on his performance this year that I would consider over KC that would be McCown.

Shaun Hill or Josh Mccown would be the only 2 out of those guys. Other than that I would just rather draft someone in the 3rd+ round.

I do think Shaun Hill would be terrific as our backup. Still confused why he didn't take a shot to be a starter elsewhere when he was a free agent a couple years ago in Detroit.

I like Shaun Hill. But I doubt we sign a vet over Clemens. Schotty loves him.

Possibly. ACL tear might drop him from a 2nd to 3rd rounder into the 4th to 5th round range. Has potential but wasn't consistent in college. I like a couple guys better but if we're talking the 5th round...why not.

I'm not saying that I want him or anything but what about Mark Sanchez if/when he gets released? He already knows Schotty's system, shouldn't cost much, has had moments of success that I would put on par with what you'd want in a backup. I'm not sure if he thinks he's going to be a starter somewhere but if he's out there would you consider it?

I like Murray a lot, more than most actually. We are now in the era in some folks mind that the Rams simply :must" get that run-around QB so we can be like _______________________.

Murray comes from a pro offense, is a good decision maker, has enough arm is durable (played every game from freshman year until the ACL!!!

But in the end, imo it is not smart for the Rams to have their starter working his way back from ACL surgery AND their young, totally green rookie too.

That wold be an interesting scenario. I think KC will get around $1Mil after his performance with the Rams this year and the fact as someone else said Schotty seems to love the guy. Would Sanchez want more $$ in a contract? His confidence has to be shot

I'd be ok with that. Sanchez was solid enough with Schotty in NYJ.

Murray is an excellent QB. The ACL will drop him in the draft. I'd venture to guess he can be had in the mid 4th, maybe top of the 5th.

David Fales is on my radar but fear he will be gone in the 3rd. The South Carolina QB Connor Shaw would be a nice project too. He can be had in the 6th or 7th round I bet if not UDFA.
