The ROD is having our official Biggest Loser Competition starting Aug, 17th 2015. This will be a 12 week contest, with weekly reporting of weight.

We will be going off of total body weight % lost, not total weight. Whether you are looking to lose 20 lbs to get in "High School Shape" again or looking to lose 100 lbs to change your quality of life, we are all here for you.

We are seeking competitors, but...Support cast is just as important. We are looking for a few posters who have knowledge that may be beneficial to the contestants. This will be a safe, positive environment where you will work together to achieve your goals.

We realize that the info and or Pics that you will be sharing are of the private nature and for that reason, we will have this entire competition in a private section of the board, not viewable by anyone but those that have been given proper permission.

So, reach down deep and if you have what it takes to finally do what you have been promising yourself to do. To request permission to join, reply in this thread or PM @CGI_Ram.

The member with the highest % lost at the end of 12 weeks will receive a custom banner for their avatar. Maybe one of our very talented photoshopers will offer their assistance in creating something special.

Good Luck to all...Lets get it on....Rules of competition will be posted in the private forum.

figured I'd repost this in the sticky..

check this article out guys. this is the nutrition plan that my PT manager and I use for our clients

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/keto.htm

this should be done on an active lifting routine and cardio routine. and age is really no excuse I'm sorry. anyone can do this. I've had clients of all age groups prove it. in a 12 week programs I've had 46 year old male- 25 lbs of fat lost and over 7 lbs of muscle gained. 68 year old female school teacher holding 3 minute abdominal planks. 17 year old female 300 lbs dropped over 50 lbs in 12 weeks. and a few months later 25 more and counting. 75 year old old male school bus driver double knee replacements able to pop up and down and knock out 10 push-ups. just got have the discipline and follow that programs that work. seriously just ask me questions anytime. I could even send out bootcamp videos, exercise clips or workout routines

Yeah but at 6' 8" that's not a big deal right?

I'm kidding and I will post to help motivate people and provide tips. I'm 5' 10" 180.....don't know what my body fat is but I'm pretty lean and hit the gym often and have learned a little bit about nutrition so I'll do what I can to help.

do you guys do before and after photos, body fat percentages and fat loss compared to lean muscle gained and waist, chest measurements etc? I'd advise everyone to keep workout logs and even nutrition logs if possible. there's and excellent workout journal I use with all my clients that contains all sorts of helpful information to stay on pace. above all may I recommend DO NOT go into the gym and try to run on the treadmill or bike for 2 hours a day in an effort to lose weight. it does not work that way!

A few years ago I lost 60# and was in great shape well I've gained back 30 and the pants are tight and the T-Shirts are tight so I'm in. Not looking to win but to have some support would be great. At least I will know at around 10:00 PM munchies time I won't be alone in my hunger. I will weigh in this weekend I stood on my scale and surprise!!!! my batteries have worn out.
