Do you really think the “just pre season” thing would be the same for Goff if he played like that? The entire world would tear him limb from limb.

Regardless if the coach shows anything, he should still be able complete easy passes. He looked dreadful every single time he dropped back. If he can’t play well when the games don’t matter and defenses are in basic coverages, what makes you think he will suddenly blossom against complex coverages/blitzes?

I doubt he will end up finishing the season. The Oline did him no favors and Mullens looked just as good last year. It’s also possible that maybe, just maybe, the 49ers are a bad team.

We've already seen it twice for Goff. Thankfully we'll never see it again.

I've never thought the grapman was any good but c'mon, it was his first game back from an acl with a porous oline. It will take him awhile to get back into the groove.
