I was talking with a fellow Rams fan. I told him I’m not worried about the first game against the Cowboys. He’s worried about the lack of preseason contact. I laughed it off and asked if he’s tracked the Rams Preseason snap count for starters the past two years. If any team is prepared I’d have to believe it’s the Rams.

Thoughts?

The starters did get reps in scrimmages against other teams the past few seasons and McVay has always said those reps were as close to real game reps as you can get in a protected environment.

This Online won't be gelled. Noteboom only started 6 games and is coming off injury. Corbin was a midseason acquisition with limited snaps. Blythe moved to center and has those two on either side? I don't think training camp snaps prepared them for a veteran Dline and line backing corps that has played together for a few seasons..

If the Oline can play well its going to take a few games. Ditto with installing a new defense. It doesn't sound like this defense is anything like they've run with Wade. It would have been nice to go full speed, be in proper position and make tackles for at least a few quarters before the season starts.

Even saw Whitworth basically addressing the same issue, we’ll see how it plays out but the Rams not playing starters the past 3 pre seasons just might give them a leg up here
