Field Yates discusses what the NFL is doing in an attempt to curtail the number of underclassmen who declare for the draft. Underclassmen wanting to enter the draft early will be rated 1st round, 2nd round, or Do not enter the draft. 37 of the 107 underclassmen who declared this year weren't drafted. (2:42)

Well, if they aren't drafted they can always go back to school the following year if they miss out.

They can go back for schooling but not football I believe. Once a college player declares himself draft eligible and gets an agent he is done with college athletics.
