Looks like the RB's are good to go, Hendo and Akers. Jefferson probably won't play so Skowronek will probably start in his spot.

Benny Skow is a Ram that I really hope can make strides in his 2nd year. His emergence could really gives the Rams an impressive and deep WR corps, with a very diverse skill-set, but I have been unimpressed by his hands thus far for a WR that hopes to play at the NFL level. Too may drops, awkward catches when he does reel it in, and bobbled balls leading to interceptions. His hands aren't terrible but they definitely won't cut it for an NFL WR, IMO. Certainly not on a team with Super Bowl aspirations. You could accept it at other skills positions like RB. He was a 7th round pick, so perhaps what we are seeing is what we will get, but I am holding out hope for him yet.

I do like his size, attitude, and willingness to block.

And I generally like Notre Dame products because you can rest easy that you are not getting a stupid player. That is important for WRs in this intricate Rams' offense.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to play NFL football. But legitimately dumb players should be avoided. Anecdotally, as soon as I saw Greg Robinson's post-draft interview, my stomach sunk, and I feared he would bust, as I came away from that interview with 0 faith he could ever master an NFL playbook. Sure enough, he has been caught smuggling drugs since, one of the stupidest criminal offenses an NFLer could commit.

This is the biggest game one we've had in a while. Both these teams are contenders for good reason, two loaded rosters and two teams that will be competing at the trade deadline for any difference makers that are up for grabs. I really want this one and the Shitters game from the early schedule. Let's get that dub Rams!

Yeah but, Stafford led the league in INT’s last year with 17 !!

Never mind that he threw 41 TD’s

I hate that this is the Rams opener. No matter how focused.. first game after a championship.. raising banners.. you're gonna be a little distracted.
On top of that.. you're playing the best team in the AFC.. a team with a loaded roster and Superstar QB that is pissed off at the way their season fell short last year.

Just not good timing for the Rams, imo.

Maybe it is me, but I am honestly not putting a lot of weight on this game. Unless it is an extreme result I see this as a fun opener that in the end will have little effect on the season. No matter the result this will do nothing to tarnish my Super Bowl High

White is out? Kupp and Robinson right now :D

T white out and that 3rd WR combo of Beasly/Sanders is gone. Crowder isn’t as much of a threat.

Some shuffling of the Bills Oline may show up as well.

Some cracks in the foundation. Though the Bills still have plenty of talent everywhere.

I want to see the run game get established early and often. A lot of talk about the Rams Offense being 1 dimensional. I mean, in the playoffs-- we could see it. The team has GOT TO be able to run the ball if we want another trip to the SB.

That being said... anyone planning on going to the game??? I am likely headed to Sofi for week 2 versus ATL. Hope we get a few RODers out there to represent.

I’d rather play this game early in the season vs late. 1 - it’s a great test but not critical. 2 - Rams are healthy. 3 - Rams have shown nothing so far so there’s a chance to surprise the Bills (Robinson, Tutu, healthy Akers/Hendo/Williams, Wagner/EJ).

The way McVay handles the preseason, it’s hard to have a handle on what to expect as a fan and I imagine as an opponent as well. The results are great, no denying the wins are there.

Looking forward to seeing Akers to see if he has the flash, Robison and what he brings, Wagner leading the D and of course the Stafford to Kupp connection.

God this narrative was so annoyingly bad. Yes he's going to throw some picks due to his aggressive nature and I can live with that. But 41TDs/17ints is a good ratio.. especially when other QBs like Allen, Herbert, and Carr all threw two less INTs with 15, yet nowhere close to 41TDs. Stafford hardly gets fooled, and a handful of the INTs I think we can credit to his 1st year in the system and lack of chemistry with WRs down the field. I mean people forget it was his first year with Kupp and McVay because we won the SB. But look at how amazing he was in the playoffs taking care of the ball. 11TDs/3ints in the playoffs and a Lombardi!? With three consecutive come from behind 4th qtr wins. But..but..but.. Tart dropped a pick. Stafford is so fucking good man let the haters hate. ARob is gonna go nuts 90/1200/10 this year with Stafford just watch.

Kurt Warner was 41/13 in his Super Bowl year, but I don't believe Kurt had any served up by receivers popping the ball into defender's hands.

Also, the Bills have a new offensive coordinator and new offense… gonna take a bit to get really settled
