1. Los Angeles Rams 6-0 (last week: 1)
Todd Gurley is literally running his way to an MVP season, showing he can carry the team even when the passing game and defense are off.

1. Los Angeles Rams (1)
With potential snow in the forecast, the Los Angeles Rams were expected to heavily rely even more on Todd Gurley during Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, but nobody expected him to have a career day on the ground. The runner up to last year’s MVP award was an absolute nightmare for the defense of the Broncos in Week 6 after rushing for a career high 208 yards to go along with two trips into the end zone.
Thanks to some help from the New England Patriots taking down the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles is now the only remaining unbeaten team in the NFL heading into Week 7, bringing in a whole new level of pressure. Over the first six games, the Rams have been handling the pressure of being a strong candidate to make a run at the Super Bowl pretty well when looking at some of their victories, but this will be a new kind of feeling.

No. 1 Los Angeles Rams (6-0)
The Rams withstood a late Broncos comeback to notch their sixth straight win. Todd Gurley had the standout NFL performance of Week 6 with 208 yards and two touchdowns. Gurley averaged a stellar 7.4 yards per carry against the Broncos on his way to a career-high amount of rushing yards. We did not see the typical prolific Rams passing attack we are used to seeing, but Los Angeles still managed to pull out a victory.
Jared Goff threw for just 201 yards and did not throw a touchdown in the game. Gurley believes the Rams run game is what opens up the passing game for the team.
"We want to have a well-balanced offense," Gurley told ESPN. "It starts with the run, then the play-action, and then everything else is going to take care of itself."
This week marked the second of what will be three straight weeks on the road for the Rams. Next week, the Rams head to San Francisco to close out nearly a month on the road. There is no end in sight for the Rams who do not have a bye week until Week 12.
