1. Los Angeles Rams 6-0 (last week: 1)

Todd Gurley is literally running his way to an MVP season, showing he can carry the team even when the passing game and defense are off.

1. Los Angeles Rams (1)
With potential snow in the forecast, the Los Angeles Rams were expected to heavily rely even more on Todd Gurley during Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, but nobody expected him to have a career day on the ground. The runner up to last year’s MVP award was an absolute nightmare for the defense of the Broncos in Week 6 after rushing for a career high 208 yards to go along with two trips into the end zone.

Thanks to some help from the New England Patriots taking down the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles is now the only remaining unbeaten team in the NFL heading into Week 7, bringing in a whole new level of pressure. Over the first six games, the Rams have been handling the pressure of being a strong candidate to make a run at the Super Bowl pretty well when looking at some of their victories, but this will be a new kind of feeling.

No. 1 Los Angeles Rams (6-0)

The Rams withstood a late Broncos comeback to notch their sixth straight win. Todd Gurley had the standout NFL performance of Week 6 with 208 yards and two touchdowns. Gurley averaged a stellar 7.4 yards per carry against the Broncos on his way to a career-high amount of rushing yards. We did not see the typical prolific Rams passing attack we are used to seeing, but Los Angeles still managed to pull out a victory.

Jared Goff threw for just 201 yards and did not throw a touchdown in the game. Gurley believes the Rams run game is what opens up the passing game for the team.

"We want to have a well-balanced offense," Gurley told ESPN. "It starts with the run, then the play-action, and then everything else is going to take care of itself."

This week marked the second of what will be three straight weeks on the road for the Rams. Next week, the Rams head to San Francisco to close out nearly a month on the road. There is no end in sight for the Rams who do not have a bye week until Week 12.

Walter has the Rams at #3, because they haven't covered the spread. :jerkoff:

1. Rams (6-0; last week No. 1): The Greatest Shows-offs on Turf 2.0 finally were held under 30 points.

1. Los Angeles Rams

Record: 6-0
Week 6 ranking: 1

Playoff chances: 99.7 percent. No team has a higher chance to make the playoffs than the unbeaten Rams. While a lot of the attention goes to Jared Goff, Todd Gurley and the Rams' skill players, L.A.'s offensive line has been exceptional this season. The Rams have the highest pass block win rate, according to ESPN's pass block metric powered by NFL Next Gen Stats, and lead the league by a wide margin.

RAMS (6-0)

Previous rank: No. 1

Jared Goff finally appeared mortal this season, and it didn't matter. Not when his tailback scootered his way to the second level of the defense consistently in Denver. Gurley padded an already-impressive season tally with 208 yards rushing and two touchdowns, pushing the Rams to a 6-0 start.

Loved the locker room video after the game, with Sean McVay handing the football to defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. You can watch that here. Bet you @SonOfBum enjoyed that sucker immensely. Bet you the Broncos wouldn't have sniffed Super Bowl 50 without him. Truth.

1 - Los Angeles Rams (Last Week: 2) - The NFL’s only remaining undefeated team has looked mortal in their last two games. The Rams only defeated Seattle by two points and Denver by three. But ultimately they’ve found a way to win so here they sit on top.

1. Los Angeles Rams (6-0; won 23-20 vs DEN) (- No change from last week)

The Rams are still rolling but they showed a few weaknesses this week. Jared Goff had an off-day and the Broncos played their way back into the game down the stretch. 208 yards on the ground from Todd Gurley was enough to keep them perfect on the season.

1. Los Angeles Rams:

They are the last undefeated team in the NFL. They’re almost like Muhammad Ali; They’ll just keep beating on you and beating on you without landing the knockout blow until late in the fight. Almost a “lull you to sleep” tactic. They just do so many things right, even if it isn’t always the sexy 30 point blowout.

When the Rams are 8-0 after beating the Packers, we'll still be third.

When the Rams are 11-0 entering the bye week after beating the Chiefs in Mexico City...we'll still be third.

When the Rams are 19-0, holding the Lombardi and having accomplished something truly epic... we'll still be third using logic like, "if they played this game 10 times, the Rams lose 9. This just happened to be the one time they won."

You can't argue with opinion and dogma which I'll continue to repeat are now a more common currency than money, expertise, knowledge or facts.

With idiocracy upon us, I'll just have to hope that we wait awhile before trying to water the crops with Brawndo...(it's got electrolytes!)

Unanimous #1 except for 1 Jerk-Off, who has the Rams #3. Controversial Click-Bait. Don't fall for it. Tells me all I need to know, which is that I have better things to do with my time (Literally anything else).

2018 Week 7 ELO Ranking: 1

The Rams rode their dominating defense and Todd Gurley to a victory in Denver, pushing their record to 6-0. Running backs very rarely matter these days, but rushing in the right situations while contributing 131 yards after contact can do wonders for an NFL offense. This defense deserves recognition for their hot start, as they are allowing the lowest EPA allowed on early down pass attempts. Nickell Robey-Coleman has thrived under Sean Mcvay, becoming one of the premier slot corners in the NFL.
