Baldinger said he thinks the NFC West is the best division in the NFC. He also said it's not just the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks who are the favorites, adding the St. Louis Rams are ready to compete right now.

One could make a strong case for the NFCN, which swept us last year and also sent 2 teams to the playoffs. They also had 3 teams with double digit win totals ....

Amazing considering the Rams dont have any players worthy of the Top 100 list (NFL Network). The Cardinals are not going to be nearly as much of a pushover either. People can bag on Palmer all they want but he is a good NFL QB who can get the ball to their playmakers. That and their D will make the games with Arizona a lot tougher than last year.

I can see the North last year but I dunno about this year. Peterson won't be able to repeat and without what he did the Vikes are a 8 win team at best.

You could be right though.....

As I was glancing through the standings a few things jumped out to me. Only one team broke the 500 point barrier and it was the Patriots at 557, next was the Broncos at 481. That was a bit of a surprise I would have thought there would be 2 or 3 more teams pretty close to 500.

Also the Dolphins only scored 288 points and won 7 games and the Rams only scored 299 and won 7. Talk about manufacturing victories.....
