NFC playoffs in Rams hands

At 6-2, the Rams appear to be one of the top teams in the NFL at this point. However, the schedule is much harder for the second half of the season.

The Rams have the NFC playoff picture within their control as they play every NFC division leader outside themselves before the regular season concludes. If the playoffs started today, the Eagles (8-1), the Saints (6-2), the Vikings (6-2), and the Seahawks (5-3) would all be post-season bound in the NFC. Coincidentally, the Titans (5-3) would also make it in the AFC as the 4th seed.

All these teams are slated to play the Rams in the coming weeks. This indicates that the Rams will not only be controlling their own destiny but the partial fate of 5 other contenders as well.

If the Rams make the playoffs this season, these are likely the same teams they will face so these games will be particularly telling. Can we keep it going?

But since McVay has been very clear that he wants the team to focus on one game at a time, they will put everything into winning each game and worry about creating anything new if and when they have to play again. This makes better sense as they could rely on improved execution as the team continues to grow. How fun is this?

Obviously you can throw out home/road, except for maybe against Seattle since they have such a great home field advantage..

So beating the Vikings and losing to the Eagles won't surprise anyone

At the rate the Rams are growing . as a Team, week to week, I say we have a great chance of going very deep in the Playoffs, if not all the way to the SB!!

I think the more they show opponents, the least likely they'll be able to handle everything. Make 'em prepare for everything....I'm sure McVay and Son of Bum have barely scratched the surface.

It sure will be nice to play at Home for more games in the 2nd half of the season.

We've done amazingly well considering all the road games we've had to play so far... and that game in England may have been considered a Home game, but let's face it,,, that's like a road game times 2.

I saw a graphic during the game yesterday that show mileage teams have had to travel this year, and the Rams were
#1 on the list with most mileage traveled. One would think less travelling down the stretch should be a big advatnage

The Rams have a very good chance at taking the division. I don't see the seahawks keeping up, thier offense is trash, Wilson scrambles and Wilson chucking a deep ball off of a scramble. And aside from playing AZ (twice) and SF they are going to play stronger teams ATL, JAX, DAL, LA, PHI. All the Rams have to do is win.

Meh just two bad games at home and one we should have won regardless if we played like utter shit!

Damn just so many little things, just one thing changes and we win. Quinn blocking Russel on that run back Kupp not catching that ball.

I guarantee we don't play that bad the rest of the season at home. We might lose but not get owned that bad with 5 turnovers!
