Some great movies mentioned in this thread.

One of my favorites (that I’m pretty damn sure no one on here would mention) is a French art film by Truffaut from the 1950’s called “Les quatre cents coups”, translated to “The 400 blows.” Really packs a punch.

And no, it’s not a porn movie.

I was just talking about this movie the other day. Was quite brilliant and seems to be a bit fitting for the world we live in today.
Said it then, say it now, biggest mistake they made was in calling it III, should have just given it it's own title. Season of the Witch alone would have made it a classic

I don’t think I saw this one, but it gets pounded by users on IMDB. Low rating.

Agreed, and the vision at the time from director Tommy Lee Wallace and the writers was that going forward, all of the Halloween films would be new stories independent from the Mike Myers stuff. Of course the studio wanted none of that and turned it into a Mike Myers cash cow franchise.
