Most of the contracts you have the Rams signing of their own free agents are unrealistically low.

Witherspoon/Robinson/Wentz for no more then 2 million? They'd laugh all the way out of the Rams building, giving us that many more holes.

I've soured on KoolAid. He likely isn't even the best CB on his own team in this draft. I'm not super high on any CB this year yet honestly. Not a fantastic year to need to draft one which I why I have hope one of the vets hits the market (Jaylon Johnson please!)

I feel like we need to be bringing in more than one exterior FA. That's not to say that they need to be high priced. But we still have a lot of holes to fill. If they were to bring in just Lawson, for example, I'd be pissed because I don't think he raises the bar for us in the edge rotation at all.

Also and btw it is a lot easier to get to the playoffs than it is to be a contender. With a coach of McVay's quality you get the most from the talent, but if we want to be a team with a real chance the roster quality must be significantly elevated. We need a lot of quality added to the defense, and a couple key pieces on offense have potential to make that unit elite.

I don't know that they can address all of it. There is room for them to have a down draft and miss on a couple guys they need to produce. Not to be negative here but just being realistic in that you cannot expect another draft as good as this last one. Could happen. But it could also not happen.

So IMO they need to have a strong FA window. Snead threw some cold water on that in his last interview, or at least I perceived his comments that way. Left me thinking they won't play hard in that market. But if that's the case there is still room for them to go get 3 or 4 low end types to help stack the overall roster strength and/or maybe get Dotson done.

Guarantee Philly takes SVPG before we do. Kelce just retired, they love building the O-line with high picks, they love SEC players, and they have two seconds to play with.

I'm not very high on Kool-Aid either. If we do take a cornerback in the first round, Quinyon Mitchell (Toledo) would be my choice, but even then, I'd prefer to trade down to accumulate more picks.

With our second-round pick, I'd suggest Kris Abrams-Draine out of Mizzou. He's a ballhawker, slightly undersized, but physical, competitive, and a great cover corner.

Keep up the amazing scouting and drafting and development of a few key positions and we've pretty much got to take a step forward.
The crew in this entire franchise is so hyped, I don't see us taking a step backwards.

I want a a better pass rusher and either a fast LB or safety in free agency if possible. I have no idea about the draft. I expect a lot of roster turnover. I would like to keep the offensive line together.
