She then said "How will you feel about that?"
I replied, how will you feel about being written out of the will?

This is a battle you will never win. Even if you do, you lose. Best option? Not to play the game.

You see I did not give my children a choice when it comes to football, they had to root for the Rams, they could do what they wanted in any other sport, with the exception of football. My son & daughter root for the Yankees & Warriors, nothing like being band wagon jumpers, but that's fine, but their horns are always up because the alternative is unthinkable.

Exactly! I trained my family right from the get go! (Rams @ Chargers 2006)

My oldest isn’t really into sports, except for hockey maybe, but he pulls for the Rams, Dodgers and Lakers, but the Kings are #2 to the Preds for him because he’s always liked smilodons.

My youngest loves the Rams and Dodgers, loves the Lakers but Curry is his favorite player, and the Kings are #2 to Winnipeg because he’s nuts for airplanes.

I will never take either boy to Staples to cheer for their teams against the Kings, but we go every year to watch the Preds and Jets against the Ducks, at which games I still wear my Kings jersey and cheer for the visitors. Qwaks fans actually give me waaaay more shit than my boys in their Preds or Jets gear :p

All in all, I guess they turned out OK.

My eldest used to be a Cowboy fan and both my boys liked rooting against me. They've always enjoyed trying to beat Dad.

Well, between them seeing that it hurt my feelings a bit (the way they went about it crossed the line a bit from fun to antagonistic) and when it came time to take a kid to a game, I chose my eldest daughter. Some of you met her at the Rams tailgate for the Tampa game in Tampa. I think that sent a message.

Since then, they've both come around (my son dropped the Cowboys after they signed Greg Hardy, that was the last straw) and both will be rooting for the Rams come Sunday.

NEWSFLASH: So get this... my wife HATES football. She'll leave the house rather than even have to listen to it.

Well, with all the kids wanting to watch with me as they all know how important our Rams are to me, it turns out that THE WIFE ACTUALLY WANTS TO WATCH THE GAME!!!

AND SHE'LL BE ROOTING FOR THE RAMS!!!

This woman is a lucky woman. I don't mean cuz she married, me... I mean, yeah, but...

She wins every raffle she enters. Not even kidding. At a church raffle with like 40 prizes available, she won like NINE of them. There were some unChristian things said at the end of that raffle by some bitter old ladies, I tell you what.

It's like a thing... I have the worst RNG luck in video games, maybe in the history of gaming...and she's got the best luck. Often, she just needs to sit next to me and I'll get what I was farming for hours in just a few minutes.

I feel so good about this game!

YES!!! My wife's exactly the same. She's not even from this country, so she has no clue wtf is happening, but since my dad and boys will be here watching, she's all in.

And like any sentient being on this planet, she already knows to hate the Pats. :yess:

Well, my son is a fervent NE fan. Can't get through to him about the tapings... deflate-gate... all just summarily responded to with "you're all just jealous".

Always watch the game at a friends house with my golfing buddies. My son has attended a few but hasn't committed yet for this year.

I can tell he's nervous about the game... but won't admit it.

As far as cutting him out of the Will... he always responds "remember who picks your retirement home... think of Ben Stiller in Happy Gilmore".
