What makes Legette intriguing is he's one of those who might be a better pro than he was in college. If and when he puts things together he's potentially a beast of a player. Dude can get up for it, he's an explosive athlete, would be a threat anywhere he catches it.

But I do agree he has to fit on the mental side with the Rams. They're known to be one of the tougher offenses, they run a shit ton of motions and use the wideouts heavily in the run game. So they aren't going to want a one-trick pony who can just run nines. Gotta be cerebral enough to grasp the playbook quickly as a rook in order to translate early on.
He's a stud on special teams as a gunner and kickoff return guy.

We need a backup center still more than a 5th tackle. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, I waited too long in this draft. I lost Nugent who I like late in these mocks. Storm Duck was a fun pick instead of a K. Rams going to the UFL for their K in this scenario.

I am Duck fan..so take this with a grain of salt. The few games I saw him play versus Bo Nix....I think Odunze made Penix look better than he is as Odunze seemed to always give Penix a huge window to throw to...Nix, I believe, can throw into tighter windows as he didn't have anyone like Odunze getting big separations. Jmho
I don't dislike Nix. I just think to take him you're projecting more.

McVay will want whoever we pick to throw the ball down the field. So with a guy like Nix will he be comfortable doing that with NFL defenses. Feels like a major stretch to me. Whereas with Penix you know the guy is comfortable sitting in the pocket and gunning it downfield so really all you need to do is work on his feet being more consistent so his underneath throws have high accuracy.

Basically I think it's easier to fix a guy on underneath throws when he's got some consistency issues with his footwork. But it is difficult to teach a guy to be comfortable in the pocket holding the ball as longer routes develop. Some just have that. I will say Nix is a very good athlete, he moves well, so he may learn it. But to me one projection is much more difficult to make true than the other.

Has anybody completed a mock draft from 1 to 19 where you made the selection for each team based upon how you honestly felt and did not purposely leave the Rams the player you wanted them to select?

If so, isn't it interesting how one or two selections can have a significant effect on who is left at #19?

Nah I haven't because honestly, I'm like fuck those teams and would select 18 kickers in a row except the one we want

Just too much work to look at everyone's roster and try to get a good feel for it so you can make a good pick. Though we usually do a board mock draft where it's kind of a group thing as we're each only getting into one roster.

Haven't seen the board mention that yet. Can't remember who usually runs it or I'd @ him on it.

There is no way Jaylen Wright lasts anywhere near the fourth round in those mocks. He's probably the best running back in this class. I'd be ecstatic if he lasted to #83, and I don't even think that'll happen.

how much does the kickoff rule change affect the draft?

Does Dejean value rise? Same question with Legette?

Ok, I'm sold on Newton. He'll compliment Turner well. In this mock, as it is in almost all of them, you can get him with a slight trade back.
