Denver should've traded for Sam well before the draft instead of getting Mark Sanchez. Strong defense, good WRs, good run game, it's perfect for him.

They didn't want to pay $18m per year for him. Plus giving up a high draft pick to go with it.

How do they know anything about Carson Wentz yet? We know a little more about Goff and believe he will be great, but he has to work on some things before taking the starters job....Wentz is basically going from North Dakota State, cold turkey, into the NFL......just, wow.

I don't believe he will be "great". Actually, I have no idea how he'll turn out. Honestly, I don't know where people get such ideas, Goff hasn't played a single down in an actual game and we have him labeled as great?.......Good Grief. :baghead:

I'd be surprised if he turns out better than Sam. He might be less injury prone. People always want the new shiny toy though.

I just read this after looking at this thread. http://lastwordonsports.com/2016/07/20/underrated-brilliance-sam-bradfords-downfield-passing/

Yes....the man crush continues...I know...I'm just saying I think he's better than people think because he's had terrible luck throughout his pro career with his supporting casts and injuries - but wherever he's been he's been the best offensive player on the team.

"believe" doesn't mean that he definitely will be..Is belief that offensive?

Despite the general perception of him - he's one of the best QB's in the league....if he's healthy. He'll beat out anyone if he doesn't go down hurt.

And there's the rub. If a player can't stay on the field, then all that's left is potential. Speaking of injuries, Carson Wentz has already had one before the season even starts. So maybe it would be unwise for the Eagles to trade Bradford.

"Carson's situation, just got word he had a CT scan done," Pederson said on Monday morning. "It came back, and he had the two [injured] ribs there. The 10th one is completely healed. The 11th one still shows about 60%. There's still some injury there with him going forward."

So will he play, then?

"If he's 60% with that rib, probably not," said the Eagles head coach.

Wentz ruled himself out while talking to Eagles reporters in the locker room on Monday.

James J. Schwartz is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. Schwartz was also formerly the head coach of the NFL's Detroit Lions.

I only know this because they are the local home team. The wide nine in Philly. Defense looks good so far. Nice pass rush. Let's see how McLeod fits in.
Don't know why all those old coaches are a blur to me....Well, he was SUPPOSED TO COME, but he Fish never asked....
I think he's a pretty good coordinator...much better than a head coach....

But Bradford is up-and-down in several core departments of professional quarterbacking, including: precision accuracy, pocket poise and coverage diagnosing.
Hey it's de ja vu It sounds like Sam still had the same troubled when he was here as well...
