No, gentlemen. This is not the weather forecast for Seattle, Sunday, or any other NFL game, for that matter. Might I remind our older Rams fans, and maybe inform a few of you young 'uns, our Los Angeles Rams in week 10 of the Super Bowl 1979 season held the Sea Pigeons to MINUS 7 total yards. An NFL record that may never be broken.

So if you have a couple hours, some pop corn, and a cold beer, click on this game, and enjoy!

*By the way, note the play by play team: The beloved Vin Scully, and former Ram Coach George Allen.
*Also note...Pat Haden couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.:cautious:

I just recently watched that game.

I had to. I heard Vin Scully's voice and I felt a duty to listen to the whole thing.

I had to fight the emotion back.

More than anyone, Vin Scully was the voice of my childhood and especially when it came to baseball, he was a poet of the highest order. He painted Dodger stadium in hues more colorful than can be perceived by the human eye and painted a picture of the grounds and game better than the most evocative symphony.

First time I went to Dodger Stadium, it felt like going to church...because of Vin Scully.

So, Vin Scully, the Rams AND kicking the Seahawks butts?

Oh yeah...watched the whole thing.

That is awesome! What a game to go to.

I was stationed in Seattle a few years later. (Clearly I am younger, and more virile than you, Bubba.) I was on one of those USCG big red icebreakers on pier 36.

I was in the Kingdome in 1987, as I was able to actually to do the color guard for the '87 NBA All Star game. Cool experience! Rubbing elbows (er, elbow to knee), with Bill Lambier, standing near Magic, Kareem, as we got ready to march out, Jordans first all-star, I believe, Dr. J's swan song. Fun times.

I never got to see this game as a youngster with our 5 channel turn dial TV. I vaguely remember this game but I'm going to watch the whole game tonight. A nice hidden gem that I'm going to enjoy (y)

I saw it on our 13inch black and white. Since we were in NW Oregon we got the Seattle channels along with the PDX channels.

How great would be to do some porch settin' with Vin and just have him tell stories?

Not sure about the weather.. we are both passing teams so not sure if it favors anyone.

Maybe it favors us because we have a better running game.. maybe it favors them because they have so many defensive players out and they need help from something else.

I thought the -7 was the point spread. And if you thought a 4 hour boner was a problem why on earth would you go see the first doctor shown above? You'd only exasperate the condition.
