He will be starting for the Texans now. This also pretty much sums up their luck in that division. They finally have the opportunity to take advantage of Peyton Manning not playing, they have a good, complete team, and now they lose their starting QB. This could go a number of ways and will be a fun situation to watch. They arent running away with the division like the Niners at the moment. Titans are still making it interesting. Leinart could be terrible and they could end up benching Leinart. He could also be a pleasant suprise. The Texans have to really be hoping they can wrap up the division soon and the Titans start losing more games.

Bold prediction: Leinart will play well enough to make him trade bait for next year. Kevin Kolb didnt have that many starts and he was average at best. He still was shipped for a player and a 2nd rounder. Leinart is in a very good situation to succeed. He isnt gonna be asked to throw a lot and doesnt have to carry the offense. Its his last chance to make something of his NFL career and I think he could be a pleasant suprised. The big question is will his teammates have plenty of confidence in him. They have all seen him in practice, they know him well, and that was one of the reasons why he left Arizona. The whole team didnt have confidence in him. They were willing to cut him and bring in Derek Anderson. Leinart has plenty of talent around him in Houston. They have a great running game that will take pressure off of him, and he just has to avoid turning the ball over.
